Guide to Rhode Island

Rhode Island is one of the six states that make up New England and is the smallest state in the US! Just 48 miles from North to South, you can drive through the entire state in less than two hours. It’s known for its sandy shores and colonial towns.

Although small, it’s packed full of hidden gems, one of my favorites being the town of Newport. This small beach town is known for its Gilded Age Mansions and famous residents. Visiting a mansion is the perfect rainy-day activity. Take a historic boat tour. Shop along Thames Street, and enjoy a cup of clam chowder at one of the many restaurants along the Wharf.

It’s an adorable city that’s at its peak during the summer.
