June Favorites

Oh my gosh, can you believe the year is half over?! This month has absolutely flown by, not to mention I’m writing this post a week early so it really seems fast lol. Anyways, today I wanted to share with you my June favorites, as I have rediscovered some old stuff and discovered some new!

For makeup I’ve been keeping things pretty minimal. I’m still loving the Maybelline Matte Fit Me Foundation in ‘225’ which is the perfect olive green, under toned foundation. Also, I despise wearing mascara without having any eye makeup on because I feel as though it transfers onto my eyelids and leaves ugly smudge marks, so I’ve been priming my lids with the Urban Decay Primer Potion in ‘Eden’. It conceals your veins and keeps my mascara from transferring. I’ve also been loving the Buxom Full On Lipstick in ‘Brooklynn’ and the Essence Lipstick in ‘Oh So Matt’ which I talk about in practically every post.

For hair I’ve been keeping it mostly the same except for when wearing my hair natural I’ve been using the Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Spray, it’s been my favorite for years and it smells fabulous.

I can not get enough of my Longchamp, it’s perfect for shopping, school, sleepovers, and traveling. The best investment! For shoes I’ve been wearing the heck out of my Rainbows because they’re easy and super comfortable. I also have been loving my lace up sandals from Target! This month I got a new Bible and started lots of new stuff. However, I finished Hebrew this month which is absolutely breath taking if you are feeling lost in the Lord’s name. I highly recommend. I recently started rereading Psalms. And am reading Proverbs, Matthew, and Genesis! As for random stuff that I loved this month, by far Lamentations 3, and Romans 8- both are beautiful. Please remember that God’s love is everlasting and all things he does are for the better. More than anything this last month I learned to grasp life and hang onto it as tightly as possible, for it is far too short.

For music I’ve been listening to lots of Birdy, Hillsong, Mumford&Sons, and in particular Boardwalks by Little May. I also started One Tree hill but am only two episodes in so please don;t spoil yet!!
