Blog Award Catch Up

  1. I was on the newspaper staff in high school too. I was actually the business manager & sold advertising. It was hard because what companies takes kids seriously about that? I was on the yearbook staff too. That was a lot of fun. We did it all old school because it was the late 80s/early 90s. There was no internet yet!

    • Aw that is so awesome! I am currently just a staff writer but will be looking into becoming an editor or business manager next year! How funny. Did you go on to study business in college?

      • When I first started college I was a journalism major & was on the student newspaper there too. But things I was assigned to cover conflicted with other classes & my job so I quit after a semester. But I took a class in mass media which was really cool. It was basically the history of tv, radio & print media. But then computers were becoming popular and I switched my major to computer science.

  2. Congratulations! It looks like I am a tad to late as I just nominated you for The Versatile Blog Award as well! Haha! It looks like you do not need another one?
