April Empties

Hey everyone, welcome back to styledbymckenz! In January I shared my first ever empties post of all the products I used up throughout the month and my honest opinion/review on the products. I got such positive feedback and finished so many products this month that I figured, why not do another one?! Alright, before I start to ramble let’s get on into it.

I didn’t seem to finish up too much from the shower this month except for the essentials. First, is my favorite cleanser from Cetaphil. I have used this one time and time again because it is super gentle on the skin and is the best way to remove any excess makeup from my days. As far as the USmooth hair products, I was sent these a few moths back along with my wave iron that I absolutely adore, however, the shampoo and conditioner weren’t my favorite. It did the job but nothing more, therefore, I’m not sure I would repurchase it again. And lastly, my go to shaving cream that I have used for months now.

This was another month of makeup finishes for me which rarely ever happens. First I finished my last pack of Kirkland makeup wipes. They get the job done, however, I’m not positive if I will be repurchasing any makeup wipes in the near future for the sole fact that I am obsessed with Micellar Water because it is the easiest and most efficient way to remove my makeup. I also finished up two mascaras; the Maybelline mascara I picked up on sale a few months back and found that it did wonders in terms of volumizing my lashes. My only complaint was that it was very stubborn to remove. I received the sample size of the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara a few months ago and found that it was a very average mascara for the hefty price tag. I am totally a drugstore kind of girl in terms of mascaras. I also had a mini sample of Benefit’s Porefessionals, however, this formula was not the same as the original and left my foundation wearing away in certain areas as the day went on. I will continue to repurchase the original formula, however, this one was a no for me. And lastly, I finished my trusty Garnier Undereye Roller Concealer. I love how soothing this feels when it is applied and feel that it is so refreshing when applied in the morning.
