Makeup Of The Week- Naked Smokey Edition

Hello, everyone and welcome back to another Makeup Of The Week. If you’re new around here, Makeup Of The Week’s are  (typically) posted weekly and usually have a single eyeshadow palette at focus.

Unfortunately, this week’s Makeup Of The Week was sort of a fail. I chose to focus on the Urban Decay Naked Smokey and went into the week knowing that this palette is my least favorite of the bunch but trying to keep an open mind and take on the challenge anyways. It’s not that this palette isn’t stunning, it is don’t get me wrong. It’s that it’s not suitable for the everyday wearing and only has about five shades that I can actually work with. Not to mention that the shadow of this palette is much patchier than the others. Now, despite these complications, I went ahead and attempted to use the palette throughout the week. Below are the looks I came up with.

I’m going to have to go with Monday in terms of my favorite look from the week. Although it is a bit darker than my average look, they are the shadows that pair most easily together.
