Summer Style With the Besties // Four Outfit Ideas to Wear NOW Ft. Oliver Bilou Handbags

As a high school student, summer’s definition is much different from your average adult. There’s no need for a snooze button, no scurrying around in the morning looking for the perfect office outfit, and no limitations on when you can see your besties.

All of these reasons being why a few of my friends and I (yes, my twin sister is one of my besties!) curated a few outfits that paired perfectly with our new Oliver Bilou handbags that were kindly gifted to us and headed out for a photo shoot. Totally my kind of fun, I know!

Time to Meet the Ladies 

Ashley- Long time friend of mine, huge fan of dresses, and avid SheIn shopper.

Currently Wearing- dress: SheIn, shoes: Aeropostale, bracelet: Lauren Conrad, purse: Oliver Bilou’s “Vivian”

Skylar- Fashion Club President, cutest thing ever, favorite hairstyle- “the sprout”.

Currently Wearing- dress: Old Navy, jacket: Old Navy, necklace: Charming Charlie’s, shoes: Jack Rogers Madison- Sister to the one and only McKenzie (aka me), likes her outfits chosen for her, looks fabulous in pink lipstick.

Currently Wearing- tank: Old Navy, jeans: Gap, shoes: TJ Maxx/Steve Madden, purse: Oliver Bilou’s “Jade”

McKenzie (hehe that’s me!)- Known for overdressing, wearing shoes that are uncomfortable, and making unrealistic shopping carts on the daily.

If you’ve never heard of the brand Oliver Bilou, be my guest and let me introduce you to them. Oliver Bilou believes that no girl should settle for a handbag which is why in September of 2016 they launched their company featuring five beautiful handbags all geared toward a specific type of women with a quote aimed to inspire them on the inside of each bag.

A luxurious handbag is such a treat no matter what age you may be. Next time you’re looking for a pick me up purse I highly recommend choosing Oliver Bilou; they are all about giving back and aim to inspire the empowered women that inspire them. With every sale they make, a portion of the proceeds goes to helping enrich a child’s life! How awesome is that?!

A Closer Look at the Bags

The “Taylor” is the bag I chose and is described as “the perfect bag for the city girl hustler, who gets up, goes out and makes it happen. Her removable strap allows you to transcend effortlessly from day to night, while her delicate colors and class certainly make her the bag for any occasion.” I could not agree more with how the company chose to describe the bag. The “Vivian” is the bag I chose for Ashley. It is described as the bag “created to inspire with her uniquely quirky yet sophisticated feminine charm. Her immaculate detailing exclaims your trendsetting style to the world, and with Vivian as your bestie, compliments will flow freely. Don’t be surprised when you have to pick up a lot of jaws, and break a lot of envious hearts, as the two of you go on your way.” I personally loved this bag even more in person than I did online! The shape of it is so unique and I felt the description of the bag really suited Ashley.The “Jade” is the bag I chose for Madison and I am obsessed with it! (I’ve already borrowed it.). It’s described as “a feisty and bright little bag. Though she appears sweet, she is sure to bring out your inner pizzazz. With Jade by your side, nothing can stand in your way – the world is your playground and you’ve come to play.” This bag is seriously so fun and bright(!!!) I think it’s the perfect pop of color for a summer outfit.
