Pinterest Outfit Recreations // July 2017
Recreating looks that I have pinned to my Pinterest boards for inspiration is one of my favorite things to do. Whenever I am lacking inspiration or am in desperate need of some closet revamping I’ll head on over to my Pinterest and see if I can recreate any of the outfits I’ve saved to there. Today I am going to be sharing a few of my favorite outfits that I have recently pinned with you!
I received this top as a birthday present a couple of months back but have yet to wear it so when I found this picture I instantly thought of wearing this top from Old Navy. I also decided to wear my lace-up block heels from Target for a more practical option for day-to-day wear.
Outfit Details- top: Old Navy, jeans: Gap, shoes: Merona/Target, rings: Forever 21, bag: Longchamp
After pinning multiple pictures of high-waisted shorts and simple, sleek black tees paired with it I decided it was time to recreate it. I thrifted these shorts for less than $3 a few weeks ago and they worked perfectly for the occasion. I popped on some black mules and a chunky belt to pull the look together.

If you are asking me, there is simply nothing better than ripped skinny jeans with a pair of heels. Instead of choosing something an outfit that was a bit more Fall/Winter appropriate like the girl in the picture I opted for blush hues to go with the season a bit better and loved the way it looked. I added some gold accessories for the final touch.

If you are lacking closet inspo or are in need of a quick outfit idea I definitely recommend recreating a few outfits from your Pinterest boards. It is so fun and will really challenge you to look at your wardrobe in ways you may not have before.

I adore the horizontal stripped shirt you’re rocking in the first photo, tbh more than the pinterest photo!! Target never seizes to amaze me with their shoe collection. Outfit #2 is such a staple in my summer outfits, its easy and super flattering esp for people like me who doesn’t have much of a waist lol

This top was such a steal from Old Navy as always and so were the shoes… as for outfit #2 I actually went for the belt because I thrifted these Guess shorts for $2.50 but the thrift store didn’t have a dressing room so of course when I got home I realized they were 5 sizes too big but decided that the belt would make them look perfect lol!!!

These shoes in your third outfit, are they super high? I want to get some for my senior portraits.
No not at all! I love block heels cause they are super easy to walk in. This pair is from dirty laundry at dsw and are only about 1 1/2 inches! Hope this helped a bit.
