My Go-To Travel Essentials (NEW YouTube Video)

Hey hey hey, everyone! Typically, July is a huge month of traveling for me. In fact, today marks one week since I arrived in Wisconsin to visit my grandparents leaving me with a little over a week until I depart and head for the beach.

With all this traveling comes packing and the tedious task of deciding what to bring and what to leave home for a while. Today I’m sharing you all of my travel essentials! Keep in mind that some of these items are geared to the specific travels I have been on / will be going on so each item may not be suited specifically for you!

•  A Large Tote Bag- A tote is such a necessity for me no matter where I am going or for how long. I prefer to bring my Large Longchamp Le Pliage on trips to act as my carry on or to throw any of my electronics, books, and snacks in! Not to mention it would be a great bag for the beach because it can get wet and is washable.
• A Nicer Camera- I love bringing my vlog camera with me everywhere. It serves as the perfect way to capture sweet memories and it’s always nice to have a nicer camera to take pictures on, Plus you can print them out later and they’ll up your Instagram game a bit!
• Your Favorite Sunglasses- These are a must for me to (obviously) keep the sun out of my eyes and to help my tired looking eyes on those no-makeup days that I cherish while on vacation.
• A Good Moisturizer/Lip Balm- These are the two skin care necessities that I bring with me everywhere when traveling. The change in climate and air pressure tends to throw my skin out of whack, leaving it drier than usual and in dire need of some replenishing!
• A Long Book- Reading is one of my favorite things to do while on vacation. It is so relaxing and something I don’t typically have time to do while at home. I definitely recommend a Nicholas Sparks book because they are always so good and are longer than your typical book!
• Gum- I can never leave the house without a few pieces + the perfect thing for the airplane!
• My Planner- I cannot leave my house for more than a day without bringing my planner! I feel so anxious and unprepared without it. I usually plan out upcoming blog posts, YouTube videos, and such during car rides.
• A Cute Lil’ Makeup Bag- Little makeup/toiletries bags are such a necessity when traveling. I never leave without a few. They fit everything from makeup to skin care products to phone chargers leaving things a bit more organized in my suitcases.
• A Cute Sweater- Sweaters or sweatshirts are a huge must when traveling anywhere. With changing temperatures all the time, something to cover up if necessary is totally an essential.
