At Home Teeth Whitening With Smile Brilliant + GIVEAWAY

Do you ever get all dolled up, swipe on your favorite lipstick, look in the mirror and feel like something still isn’t right?! That’s how I used to feel about my teeth.

When Smile Brilliant reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try out there at home teeth whitening kit in exchange for a YouTube video I jumped at the opportunity as my teeth were very discolored.

Below is a brief overview of what I have discussed in today’s video-

A little bit of background- Before getting my braces off a year ago, I had braces for three and a half years so naturally when I got them taken off my teeth were a bit discolored. However,  I never really felt the urge to do anything about it, despite not being in love with their tinted shade. Using the Smile Brilliant teeth whitening kit was the first time I had ever whitened my teeth.

The Kit- Smile Brilliant makes their at home whitening kit super easy to use and the experience is totally personal. In it comes 2 Impression Trays, 3 Sets of Impression Material, and 1 Three-Way Postage Envelope to make your trays. It also includes 3 Teeth Whitening Gels (averaging at about nine teeth whitening’s) and 3 Desensitizing Gels.

Creating your trays-

1. Follow the instruction card provided in order to create the impression. At this point you should have used 2 Catalyst Pastes (white) and 2 bases (blue) in order to make one top and one bottom impression in your 2 blue Impression Trays.
2. Fill out the information card that is provided in your kit and slip it into the pre-paid Three-Way Postage Envelope along with your 2 Impression Trays.
3. Drop the envelope in the mailbox and wait! Your teeth whitening trays should arrive in the mail within a week.

Whitening your teeth-

1. Now that you have your trays (should look like a clear retainer) begin by applying a thin layer of the Teeth Whitening Gel to your top and bottom trays. At this point you should only have used 1/3 of one syringe provided. Each syringe provides 3-4 whitening’s.
2. Place the trays into your mouth. Be sure you have not brushed your teeth before applying them- this can disrupt the process.
3. Wait between 45 minutes-3 hours with the trays in depending on how quickly you want your teeth to whiten. I recommend starting with 45 minutes and then working your way up to three hours.
4. After your time is up, remove your trays and brush your teeth like normal. Rinse and dry the tray as well.
5. Repeat the same process now but with the Desensitizing Gel to keep your teeth healthy and strong.
6. Wear this tray for 15-20 minutes.
7. After your time is up, remove your tray and rinse it. It is not recommended that you brush your teeth, only spit out the remainder of what is left in your mouth!

A few things to keep in mind-

• It’s better to start off by wearing your trays for forty-five minutes and then working your way up to three hours this way your teeth can adjust and do not become overly sensitive.
• You may experience gum irritation the first time- applying Vaseline to the area can help prevent this!
• The kit should last you between 9-12 sessions of teeth-whitening. Remember that the amount of gel you put in your tray should not exceed 1/3 of a syringe.
• After about two weeks you will have a new, pearly white smile!
