Weekly Wrap Up #42 (Week In My Life + Outfit Of The Week)

Hey, strangers!!! Oh, how I have missed you all this past week. In case you haven’t been following along with me on Instagram or been reading my recent Weekly Wrap Up’s let me fill you in on a bit. I am a third-year Varsity cheerleader at my school and we do a whole lot; practicing six days a week, cheering for football on Fridays along with various sports multiple times throughout the week, and representing our school at various events and activities. However, on top of that, we are constantly working towards our county competition where we perform our routine. Our school is in Division 1 (which is the best out of three) and compete against 7 other schools. This year we were going for not only our first place title back but for a bid to go to regionals for the first time! However, I wouldn’t wanna spoil the outcome now so keep reading if you want to see how we did!!! Anyway, as you can imagine this week, as it is every year, was completely consumed with cheer, cheer, and more cheer. Oh yeah, and did I mention our football team played their rivalry team this week?! Therefore, I send my deepest apologies for being MIA, I promise I will be getting back into the swing of things as soon as possible. Did anything exciting happen to you this week?! 10.22.17- Headed home from New York this Sunday and spent almost the whole six-hour car ride working on homework and studying for all the tests that I have this week (insert multiple sad faces). Oh, and I, of course, got ice cream with Madison and Colton when we got home.

10.23.17- Today was the start of ‘spirit week’ for the cheer squad which meant a different theme each day for us. Today was supposed to be pajama day but you know me, and how I would never be caught in pajamas at school. However, I did wear this super cute workout outfit!

10.24.17- And so the countdown begins; only four days until we take the mat at counties!!!

10.25.17- Had a long, productive practice with a neighboring school in the county today before we performed our routine for the those who aren’t able to support us this Saturday at our competition!

10.26.17- Decorated the football locker room after a long, hard practice today for their big game tomorrow. I love these ladies.

10.27.17- Dress up day for the cheerleaders before the most exciting day of the season tomorrow. Oh, and we cheered on our boys as they took on our rivalry school. After a tough, but oh so exciting first half, we managed to turn things around and left with a 44-20 victory! Boy, do I love my community.

10.28.17- You’re looking at a two-time county champ baby!!!!!!!! I have never felt prouder to be a hornet. First place in D1, an automatic bid to Regionals, Highest scoring routine in the county, AND #clubzero; oh how sweet success feels.
