Weekly Wrap Up #34 2019

Well, it’s officially been one week of living in Ohio. For those of you who have missed my last few posts, I moved into Kent State University to begin my freshman year of college. It’s been a crazy week! Lots of free time and yet lots to do. I’ve been trying all sorts of mediocre food, meeting new people, making new friends, and trying to navigate campus. I only had one day of classes this week which was Thursday and it went really well. I’m spending the day resting, relaxing, and getting some blog work done before my first full week! I cannot thank you all enough for your sweet comments on my Instagram posts this week. It means so much to know that I have the support of all of you as I adjust to the college lifestyle! Wouldn’t trade you all for the world.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

8.18.19— It’s here, it’s here! Move in day has arrived. Left Maryland bright and early at five am so that we could hit the road and head to Ohio. We spent the entire day moving things into our dorm. It took forever but our room came together so nicely. Emma and I were pleasantly surprised with how large our room is! Room tour coming your way as soon as possible; I promise!

8.19.19— First full day at school. I surprisingly slept really well in my new bed. We spent the day at freshman events, learning about our school and meeting tons of new faces! It was overwhelming but in a good way.

8.20.19— Spent the day roaming around campus and talking with tons of different sororities at an event today. I also met up with my blog friend Sophie so that we could grab dinner and so I could get the lay of the land.

8.21.19— Headed to the Kent State Blastoff event tonight with my roomies after a day of errands and a Marshalls run! We got to walk around and talk with tons of different clubs and such around campus.

8.22.19— First day of school! It went super well. I made it to all of my classes without getting terribly lost, met some new faces, loved all of my professors, and felt genuinely excited towards the end of the day. It was a sucess! Had the girl gang over later.

8.23.19— No classes today! Spent the morning shooting a few looks with the help of my sweet roomie Olivia and filming three videos! We grabbed food with friends and then got ready for a night out.

8.24.19— Had a slow Saturday catching up on editing and starting the new season of 13 Reasons Why. Ate in the dining hall with the girls and then came back to our dorm to get ready. We went to Brewhouse tonight so we could dance!
