Outfit Ideas For Every Occasion

It’s that time of the month where I sit down to share my Express finds for the month! I found some adorable pieces while shopping in store and have styled a handful of them into three outfit ideas perfect for this time of year. For this post I focused on sharing an outfit for every occasion. I’ve got one casual look, one day time, and one dressy. Regardless of where you’re headed this month, you’re sure to do it in style with Express! Let’s get right on in with the looks.

Dressing Down

I know I’ve only been in college for a week or so but I’ve quickly learned that this outfit is most people’s go-to for hanging out, heading to the dining hall, or doing homework. If they aren’t a fashion student wearing something bold, their usually wearing leggings or something of this sort. I picked up these joggers from Express on a whim, wanting to try something comfy and cozy and I am obsessed. Not only are they super comfortable, they are trendy too. I love me some camo! I paired these bottoms with a simple black bodyuit for a polished look but a slouchy tee would be cute too. Pop on some good walking sneakers and you’re good to go! I’ve been loving my New Balance’s since my campus is so spread out; a typical day ensures at least five miles of walking for me.

Mid-Day Look

If you’re not bumming it to class, this is a go-to look. Especially if you’re running errands, heading downtown, or heanging with a gorup of girls. This sweatshirt I was instantly drawn to because of the “Grl Pwr” sleeves; I love this movement so much! This cropped sweatshirt looks adorable paired with ripped skinny jeans but could easily transition with leggings too. I love Express denim because they fit my tiny wasit perfectly. Their regular length is perfect on me but I cuffed this pair to show off my chunky statement sneakers. Not only are they comfortable but they are practical for walking around campus too.

All Dolled Up

Headed somewhere with a fancier dress code? What about a recruitment event for your sorority? Something like this leopard jumpsuit is calling your name. I couldn’t help myself when I saw this beauty. It’s got a deep-v neckline that’s super flattering, adjustable straps, and full length pants! This is an awesome option if you’re somewhere like Ohio where it cools down a bit faster. I added some spunk to this piece with some gold jewels and black heels. However, a black jean jacket and platform sneakers would be a fun way to make this outfit edgy!
