Well, hello there! Welcome back to another Weekly Wrap Up. This week was busy busy busy as per usual but in the best way possible. Lots of things keeping me on my toes but that’s just the way I like it. Today is big/little reveal for my sorority, Alpha Phi, and I couldn’t be more excited to find out who my big is! We’ve been getting baskets with fun goodies and clues all week. I know this afternoon will be so fun/special. I can’t believe it’s November all ready and how fast the weeks are flying by; I’ll be home for Thanksgiving break before you know it. Pushing through over here and trying to end the semester on a good note. Make sure to watch this week’s vlog— it’s a good one! Hope you’re having the best Sunday.
With love, McKenz

Hey!! I’ve been watching your videos on youtube for about 2 months now and your channel was one of the reasons I came across Kent and now it is one of my top 3 colleges for Fall 2020. I’d be a Visual Communications major, so I don’t know how well you could answer this if your decision was purely major based. A little background: I’m from Tennessee and the cost of Kent has changed for incoming freshman and so those both put a dent in how the prospects of Kent are looking. I’m really big on school spirit and the SEC feel without just being a number. I’m also planning on going through sorority recruitment and Kent has the most greek involvement of my three choices as well as a great great program for my major. I’m also huge into theatre and Kent has one of the best programs I’ve seen in a non-performing arts college.
So my question is: Why did you choose Kent?
I’m not stressing too much until I get all the scholarship packages in December from my 3 schools, but after visiting my two other choices I’m feeling overwhelmed!! Just trying to get a student perspective from someone who also fills their schedules to the brim and seems to be a lot like myself.
If you want to not respond on here my instagram is @sammgrace and that might be easier, but up to you!!
Thanks in advance if you do ever respond, I know your schedule is busy! Keep up the good work on youtube and I wish the best for you–you’re amazing!!
Thanks,
Samantha
Samantha your comment means more than I can even begin to explain! I too felt the same way and I’m here to tell you it will all work out the way it’s supposed to. I am dyingggg to go to Tennessee so come here so we can be besties and go visit your home together lol. But on a serious note, I LOVE Kent. Aside from the cold it’s fantastic for me. I chose Kent because they have a strong fashion and journalism program. They offered me the most scholarship money and they were also the closest to home for me (5 hours). I know a few visual comm majors here who LOVE it! The building is super cool. I do wish the football was bigger but I’m so busy all the time that is alright. I also really felt like I could continue by StyledbyMcKenz Brand here and grow it into something even bigger and better (so far so good!). I love my sorority and feel I’m in the right one. Greek life here is awesome and there are 20+ fraternities. I highly recommend visiting and if you ever do, please reach out and we can meet up and I’ll show you around!
McKenzie,
I literally have been following you for as long as I can remember! If you remember, I was in the group Pod with you back when I had a blog! I LOVE everything about what you do, your style, your personality, how you carry yourself! You are inspiring, I’m 24 years old & I’m still figuring out my style/body, it’s so awesome how much you put into your work, videos, blog, etc. I don’t have any social media besides Pinterest now (because we need Pinterest 😋) but before I deleted everything I made sure I could still follow you so I am so grateful & blessed that you are on all other platforms as well! Don’t ever stop doing what your doing, you have so many fans out here!
On another note, do you know where your Big got those belts that were in your gift box?! OBSESSED!
Xoxo
Giana
Giana this message brought tears to my eyes! Of course I remember and thank you SO much for sticking with me. You are the sweetest! The belts were actually from Gabe’s the grocery store, lol! Super cute though!
