Going out in college— you all have asked me tons of questions related to this topic. The most frequent being what to wear. Look no further, I’ve got you covered. Today I’m teaming up with Romwe to bring to you three awesome outfit ideas and over twenty-five party-ready pieces that won’t break the bank. I spent lots of time choosing items that would fit a variety of different college theme parties, sorority/fraternity date parties, and just your typical night out look. I hope you enjoy this post and that it gives you some major outfit inspiration.
Let’s start off with just your typical night out. No theme, no dress code, just you and whatever outfit you desire. My go-to outfit is always black on black, whether it be for a class or a party. You truly can’t go wrong with this simple combination. I picked up this black halter bodysuit from Romwe and it is to die for! You can wrap this top five different ways making it super versatile. Talk about getting your bang for your buck— that’s five “different” bodysuits for the price of one; count me in! I’m wearing it plunging style for a simple, sexy look.
I went ahead and paired this bodysuit with black jeans. I wear these almost every weekend I go out because they are perfect for the occasion. With raw hems, a few rips, and a high waist these are a go-to style that is essential for weekends in college. My next party tip is to find a pair of comfortable black boots. Designate these your “going out” shoes, also known as they are allowed to get dirty. These have got a super chunky, thick sole making them comfortable for walking and breaking it down on the dance floor. The best part is, they didn’t break the bank so if they are completely trashed by the end of the year, I’ll just replace them. My favorite way to spice up all black is by adding some accessories. A silver bejeweled belt and some star earrings perfectly complete this look. This is a killer outfit regardless of where the night takes you.

Alpha Phi’s date party theme last semester was Phi-Haw (aka country) and I was here for it. I love anything western-inspired and if it were up to me, I’d be wearing my cowgirl hat out every single night if I could, lol. Thought I’d throw this look into the mix because I am obsessed with this cow print bodysuit from Romwe. It’s got the perfect fit to it. Bodysuits are my go-to for a night out since they are super flattering and easy to style.
Wide leg jeans are a must with this look and a big ole buckle belt like the one I’ve got on. I reach for a fun, statement belt almost every time I go out as they effortlessly spice up your look. My boots have got the cutest silver buckles on them as well, matching the belt perfectly. Totally wearing this outfit to Country Night at Brew House next weekend— just need my hat and this look is complete!!!

I’d say every other week there’s a fraternity throwing a theme party here. Some of our most frequent themes are jersey, beach, and my personal favorite: neon. In today’s video, I’m sharing tons of different neon pieces as there’s always a need for neon here. I share a few of my favorite styles throughout the video but I saved my favorite pairing for this blog post.
Windbreaker pants are the perfect item to reach for if you don’t want to wear jeans. They are super comfortable and look cool too! This neon green pair looked awesome with this black ringer tee I picked up. To coordinate with the black of the shirt I popped on those same black booties from before. I totally forgot to add a few neon scrunchies, but that’s my favorite way to accessorize an outfit like this. Easy peasy to throw this outfit on and yet you’ll be ~ best-dressed ~ for sure.
