With three straight days of sunshine and temperatures in the low forties, I’m dreaming of spring fashion. I’ve been hitting the gym about six days a week here at school and it’s been so good for me. There’s no better start to my morning than getting my heart pumping and breaking a sweat before a full day of class.
And while I love the feel-good benefits of working out and the way it’s keeping me in shape, my personal favorite reason is the cute workout gear that goes along with it. Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Yogalicious and their sister company 90 Degree by Reflex to try out some of their latest spring releases. These companies have been some of my favorites for years now so there’s truly nothing better than getting to review their pieces as I hit the gym each morning.
With Valentine’s Day just a few days ago, I’ve been on a major pink and red kick. Therefore, I just had to grab these plum leggings. (Yogalicious, if you’re reading this, please come out with red leggings; I am dying to own a pair). Yogalicious has two main fabrics— Lux and Nude Tech. I prefer the Lux line for the gym as they are a bit thicker, moisture-wicking, and have four-way stretch making them super comfortable.
Mesh has been seen everywhere throughout companies spring collections and it’s such a treat seeing workout gear pick up on the typical fashion trends. These leggings have the cutest mesh along the bottom third of the pants adding a fun pop to an otherwise basic pair of leggings. These were great for the gym.
I’ll admit, I’m not typically a tank to the gym kind of girl; I tend to stick with just a matching sports bra and a cute little zip up thrown over the top. However, when I’m lounging around, running errands, or headed to the baseball field I do like to throw a top over my outfit. I’m loving this heather gray tank. It can be worn untied to show off the fun asymmetrical hem or tied up to spice things up a bit. This is such a soft material!

If you keep up with my Weekly Wrap Up’s, you’d know that I’ve got a gazillion pairs of purple leggings. For some reason, I am just so drawn to the color which is ironic because, besides activewear, I don’t own a single purple thing. When scrolling through 90 Degree’s sight, I was on the hunt for something blue to keep me away from anything purple. I stumbled across this set and fell in love. Truthfully, it’s definitely more purple than blue in person but it was still a fun addition to my collection.
I wore this set to the gym yesterday and had a killer workout in it. I love this sports bra as the cross detailing in the front provides a little something something for your boobs, certainly making them look good and yet this sports bra stayed in place so nicely. My boobs weren’t falling out as I climbed the stair stepper for thirty minutes, meaning this sports bra provided awesome support. The back has some fun criss-cross straps that are adjustable. I’m wearing a size Small and it fit me like a glove.
The leggings that match this sports bra are amazing! The Power Flex material is definitely my favorite between both companies’ leggings. I find that they are the perfect weight for me at the gym. They suck me in at all the right places and stay up throughout my entire hour-long workout. The 7/8 leggings are usually full length on me since I am on the shorter side so the capri length of these hit me at just the right spot.
As cute as this set is, because this color is on the lighter side, I did sweat right through the leggings. This isn’t unusual for me as you tend to see my sweat through just about any color besides navy and black but just thought I’d put it out there.

I grabbed more pink! Aren’t you guys proud of me for grabbing more color?! Truthfully, I’m trying to spice up my workout wardrobe a bit by staying away from black and navy as much as possible— trust me, I have enough of those two colors to last me a lifetime. I was so excited to receive these leggings from Yogalicious. The best part about this pair: they’re business in the front, party in the back.
I love that these look like your typical pair of leggings from the front, but similar to the first pair of leggings, these have got a fun mesh accent to them. The back has a panel of mesh with criss-cross straps. These are so adorable and I love that the bit of mesh makes these leggings even more breathable. These are from the Lux line as well, and while this color is on the lighter side of leggings I own, they are still squat proof!
l have this tank in a couple of colors now and it’s one of my favorites. I used to love wearing this style to cheer practice as it’s fitted and so comfortable. I love a racerback tank and this one has got peek-a-boo little cut-outs lining your spine that add a fun twist. I also find that having those little cut-outs helps keep me cooler throughout workouts! I’m also linking one of my favorite sports bras from Yogalcious that I’ve got on underneath these tanks.

I’m so excited to be incorporating some fun colors into my workout wardrobe as well as cute tanks, mesh details, and strappy sports bras. Let me know what kind of gear you’re looking for and I’ll be sure to get on it! Thanks so much for stopping by; I hope you loved these looks as much as I do.
