In case you forgot— I have a twin sister! Madison goes to Marshall University in West Virginia making us four hours apart from one another when we’re at school. We went the entire school year without seeing one another with the exception of fall and winter break. But even then, our time together was limited as one of us was always busy with something whether it be work, catching up with friends, or Madison seeing her boyfriend. Needless to say, the one good thing quarantine has done is give us a little extra time together. We’ve been driving each other crazy…. in the best way possible (most days!).
Back in the day, Madison used to be on the blog quite frequently. Whenever I needed a filler post or just needed to change things up a bit we’d reverse roles, throwing her in front of the camera while I played cameraman. I decided that after almost three years since her last styling post, today was the day.
I decided to play nice and for this collaboration period with Romwe, I let Madison have free will to pick whatever she wanted. The twenty clothing items featured in this haul together were all her choices. Don’t worry, everything was McKenzie approved! She grabbed some awesome things for her college game days, sorority events, and everyday outfits.
Not only are we hauling these items together but I’m pairing a few of the items together towards the end to share a few outfit ideas. If you enjoyed this video and want to see more of Madison be sure to give this video a like and subscribe. Now, onto a few outfit ideas from Madison.
This combination was probably my favorite of the bunch! I loved this eyelet lace top that Madison picked up from Romwe and thought it was just the cutest piece for the springtime. Paired with some cut off denim shorts you’ve got the perfect combination. These run a bit short so if you’re on the taller side, I’d skip out on these. This is totally Madison’s style and reminds me of her preppier, high school days that you would see in our old styling posts together. For shoes, Madison went with a pair of blush Tevas. She bought these last summer after wanting a pair of nicer looking, yet comfortable “wear everywhere” shoes and wears them like crazy.

If you’ve ever seen the movie We Are Marshall, it’s based on Marshall’s football team. Madison attended her fair share of games this year as football is a pretty big deal there; she decided to pick up a few game day friendly outfits from Romwe to sport her sophomore year! This top was one of my favorite items she chose. I love wrap tops, especially when they have a fluttered sleeve like this one. With the green and white polka dots, the only school color she was missing was black so this denim skirt was the perfect option. I wish Madison had white booties (we’re different shoe sizes!) to finish this look off but her Vans will do.

Madison was dying for a pair of mom jeans so she picked up this pair. We were both really impressed with these as they were super soft and had the perfect oversized fit to them. They give off major 90s vibes and look adorable belted. She snagged this fake Gucci belt from my closet and it’s not looking promising that I’ll ever get it back, lol. This was another cute wrap top that could be worn for various different occasions, whether it be a football game, going out or a sorority event. As for shoes, these too are from Romwe and are the cutest little cheetah platforms. I love these on her and am so glad I got her in some animal print!

It was so fun getting Madison in front of the camera for today’s post. It was even more fun watching her struggle during the car costume changes, goes to show what a pro I am at it now— LOL! As you can tell Madison and I have pretty different styles so if you enjoyed seeing some spring outfits from a different perspective, be sure to let me know and I’ll try to convince her to do this more often.
