Weekly Wrap Up #16 2020

Officially a month into this quarantine business and while it is driving me crazy I have finally had time to start tackling the laundry list of “to-dos” I always said I would get to “when I have time”. These are mostly Styled by McKenz related tasks like updating my Shop tab (still in the works but finally looking better!), linking more items, pinning blog posts, you know—all that jazz. And it’s making a world of a difference. I’ve seen my engagement and followings both skyrocket since quarantine which has been such an awesome feeling.

This week was gloomy and cold for a majority of it so my outfits aren’t up to par but hey, I got out of pajamas which is what counts. Madison and I also took it upon ourselves to dress up in a “theme” for dinner most days of the week, hence the outfit changes, haha. Anything to keep the sanity! What have you guys been up to? THIS WEEK’S VLOGS

As you know by now, I’ve been taking a bit of a break from Week In My Life vlogs during quarantine. I actually didn’t vlog a whole lot this week; only Sunday-Tuesday but I’m linking the video above so you can check it out. WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

4.12.20— Definitely the weirdest Easter Sunday I’ve ever had. I made Madison get dressed though so we could grab a picture and pretend life is still normal. I tuned into a live mass on my computer and watched that too. The rest of our day was spent learning Tik Tok dances and filming a few videos.

4.13.20— Getting a whole bunch of school + blog work done today. Madison and I decided mid-afternoon that we wanted to spice things up at the dinner table tonight. We threw on these wigs I have from SheIn and boy were they fun. I couldn’t believe how good Madison looked with a blonde bob omg.

4.14.20— It rained the entire day today which called for doing schoolwork at the kitchen table all day long. I have been trying to get as much school work as possible done this week that way I can finish up a few classes. I am done with three of my classes now with the exception of the final exams which will be in two weeks! Either way, it feels so good having all of my assignments completed.

4.15.20— Today I decided I needed to sleep in and wear some cozies. I sat around editing videos for much of the day. That is until dinner rolled around and we got dressed in our cowgirl gear—yeehaw! Yesterday, we dressed up in old prom dresses but we forgot to snap a picture together.

4.16.20— Another chilly day here; yuck! It was so sunny and warm out last week which made this week’s weather stink even more. I “went to class” this morning before working on a Fashion Tech project all afternoon. I made some awesome progress which was awesome. Our theme for tonight’s dinner was flappers!

4.17.20— Loving this outfit for a chill day at home. We picked up Hornets Nest takeout for dinner and the five-minute drive there was much needed. Any excuse to get out of the house even if just for a couple of minutes!

4.18.20— Well,  I didn’t make it out of bed until 3:30 today. I woke up at ten but sat on my computer making changes to my site all day long. I am so excited about the Shop page that I updated which is going to make it so much easier for you to find links to stuff! While working I watched the new show Outer Banks on Netflix. I’m about halfway through right now but it is so good.
