It’s amazing what a good pair of shoes can do for you. I recently received a pair of white lace-up heels from SheIn and they have changed my life. I don’t mean to sound so dramatic, but these heels have made me re-fall in love with styling outfits all over again. I was in a bit of a style rut last month but these have 100% pulled me right out of it.
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite looks ever. Yes, you read that right, ever. Spring style is in full bloom and I couldn’t be more excited. Today I’m sharing how to wear a pair of lace-up heels this season. I hope you enjoy this style post!
Of all the looks I’ve photographed for the blog over the years, this has to be in my top ten. It’s ironic too because this look is really just a tee shirt and jeans. So many of you have been messaging me recently asking how to dress up everyday basics; this outfit goes to show that accessories can change the game. I was basing this outfit off of my new cow print purse that I literally cannot get enough of. I love the 2000s shape to this and wanted the rest of the look to be inspired by this modern rodeo twist.
Chunky belts change everything. They elevate your look so much and really help pull an outfit together. For instance, this adds such a fun western twist. Throw on gold hoops and you’ve got a chic cowgirl vibe going on. I so wish I had remembered my cowgirl hat for this outfit; I definitely would be caught wearing this on any given day lol.
My favorite way to wear lace-up heels for the spring is with a pair of cropped flare jeans. Obviously you can wear them with a skirt, dress, or regular skinny jeans but there’s something about this combination that I love so much—as you’ll be able to tell from the rest of the looks! These pants have got a classic, relaxed fit to them that looks awesome on so many different body shapes.

When life gives you lemons you’re supposed to make a little lemonade and that’s just what I’m doing with this cute little clutch! I knew I needed this the moment I laid eyes on it. Something about it just screams summer to me. These heels can totally dress up your look and by adding an accessory like a clutch you’ve got an unbeatable combination for a going out to dinner look!
This tank is one of my new favorites. So much so, that I’ve already grabbed it in the white too. It runs tiny though so size up if you decide to purchase. I love the yellow and getting back into this color after a few months of not wearing it reminded me of why I love this hue so much! So bright and happy.
I opted for white jeans. I really love the monchrome look on the bottom half of this look. The key to styling lace-up heels is to pair them with ankle-length jeans to elongate your legs. To finish off this look I went for a pair of matching yellow earrings!

Who said blue jeans and a white tee have to be boring?! This look is totally elevating the basics in your wardrobe and I am obsessed. You could wear this for almost any occasion and still look properly dressed; it is such a versatile outfit idea.
The key is choosing a white top that is a bit fancier than just your cropped tee. I love the fit of this top; it comes in a few different colors and can easily be dressed up or down as well as transitioned from season to season. Talk about a must-have! The sheer polka dots are a fun touch.
Pair it with a pair of blue jeans and you’re good to go. Again, I went for that ankle-length cropped flare style of pants. These are a true denim making them the perfect everyday wash. I love the fit of these, especially with a pair of heels—such a chic way to dress these up! Throw on a pair of gold earrings and you’re good to go.

Y’all, I have to admit, these three looks are some of my favorite I’ve ever styled here on the blog. I know they are pretty basic pairings but utilizing accessories and a good pair of heels can totally transform your outfit.
I’d love to center more blog posts around styling one specific article of clothing. If you want to see more posts like this, let me know. I hope you enjoyed seeing a few more spring outfit ideas. Check back in on Wednesday for some swimwear inspiration.
