Express Looks I’m Wearing During Quarantine

My favorite time of the month is when I head to the mall to shop for my Express pieces. The workers, clothing selection, and just overall atmosphere of my hometown Express is unmatched—I seriously fall more in love with my job every time I leave there. And don’t worry, I’m not saying that because Express sponsors me but because they truly have the best customer service.

Obviously this whole quarantine nonsense is keeping us from the mall strolls so I’ve replaced my usual Express trip with some scrolling. If you’re in the midst of an online shopping (or browsing!) addiction you’ve come to the right place; today I’m sharing three looks I’m wearing during quarantine featuring Express pieces that are currently all up to 60% off. Matching Sweatsuit 

LOL, did you honestly expect anything different from me?! Before I discovered Boohoo joggers, I found Express joggers and boy do I love them too. I prefer the two different brands for different reasons: Boohoo has super thick, oversized joggers while Express has super soft, lightweight joggers with more of a tapered fit— overall, they are a bit less sweatpant looking. Over the last year they’ve come out with these bottoms in seven different colors and yep, you guessed it, I own all seven now! These are the perfect weight for the spring and even better for laying in bed all day.

A lot of their joggers come with a matching banded bottom sweatshirt. Not all of the colors, but many do. When offered, I love grabbing the matching top since I’m a ~set addict~. I am warning you though: this is called a sweatshirt on the website but it’s the same material as the pants so it’s basically just a thick long sleeve shirt. It runs pretty short and wide so I sized up to the small! To finish off this look I’m popping on my platform sneakers from Steve Madden. Clear glasses are the cutest accessory for a casual look like this one.

High Waisted Mom Jeans 

As much as I love a day in sweats, I have been putting on jeans too! Although it has been weeks since I’ve worn a pair of classic skinny jeans; something about them just hasn’t been speaking to me lately. My new favorite? Mom jeans! These straight-leg jeans are currently 50% off and are the perfect fit. They’ve got a 90s feel to them with an ultra high rise waist and a raw hem.

I love how old school these jeans feel. By adding a lace trim cami and black heels I’ve made these casual bottoms so classy. I love the feminine yet girl next door twist this outfit idea has to it. Pop on gold chunky hoops and a simple pendant necklace and you’re ready to go. Obviously, I don’t wear heels around my house as I venture from couch to kitchen but throwing on a nicer outfit combo will get you out of that quarantine slump in no time.

Animal Print Joggers 

I’m all about the animal print (and joggers) obviously, so picking up these bottoms seemed like a no brainer to me. They were on major sale and since they were the only print my collection was lacking, to the cart they went! I decided not to grab the matching sweatshirt this time around. Something about the full-blown snakeskin seemed like too much, even for me!

Instead, I’m just wearing a simple long sleeve crop top. I have this top in a few different colors and I’ve been wearing them like crazy with my cozy bottoms. They are so easy to mix and match. Paired with a pair of white platform sneaks you’ve made comfy loungewear look instantly stylish.
