Weekly Wrap Up #29 2020

Hi, friends and welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up! It’s actually Saturday when I’m writing this blog post… I’m currently in the airport waiting to board my flight to Charleston, South Carolina. I am meeting my first ever blog friend Molly (@gracefullygingham) for the first time and I could not be more excited to see her hometown and fora week of shooting content in a whole new place!

Don’t worry I will be vlogging the whole trip so you guys don’t have to miss out on the excitement. In the meantime, go catch up on this week’s blog posts and YouTube videos! It’s been a jam-packed work week for me!

THIS WEEK’S VLOG

No week in my life vlog this week as I needed a few days to just work and play catch up before my travels. I did, however, get a solo day in my life up on Monday sharing some apartment shopping and a room decor haul!

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

7.12.20— Headed out with my mom and sister today for some shopping. With move-in happening in just a few weeks, we decided it was time to get a head start on the apartment shopping. We went to IKEA and got tons of good stuff and them Home Goods for a few more finds! Spent the afternoon in bed editing videos.

7.13.20— As many of you know I’ve been taking a summer class these last few weeks through my community college. I spent all day studying for my final exam this evening and am happy to say that I am officially done with math forever! Woohoo— I could not be happier!

7.14.20— My Tuesday was jam-packed with all things Styled by McKenz. I’m leaving on Saturday for a little vacay and am trying to get ahead on blog posts and YouTube videos so I can do as much relaxing as possible while away! Madison and I snuck in a photoshoot too which was awesome.

7.15.20— A typical Wednesday for me includes getting a blog post written, uploading a YouTube video, and getting some filming done. Today I did all three and ran a couple of errands too!

7.16.20— Running around like a chicken with my head cut off today getting things in order before my trip. Trying to get on top of my work, respond to as many emails as possible, and sneak a few last photos in with the help of Madison. We grabbed Chipotle for dinner and then I headed to see my second fam and watch The Lucky One with Con.

7.17.20— Today’s big task of the day was getting my suitcase packed and ready to go. Even though I’ll only be gone for a few days, I packed tons of outfits so that Molly and I could shoot some blog content while together! We’ve got a photoshoot planned with a local Charleston photographer too which I am super excited for. Spent some time with my second fam too; trying to soak in our last weeks together.

7.18.20—Woke up bright and early this morning to get some work done before heading to the airport for my flight to Charleston. I have never seen the airport so empty— in and out of bag check + security in less than fifteen minutes and only 40 people on my flight. Hanging with Molly and her fam tonight getting to know everyone and feeling so welcomed!
