Weekly Wrap Up #30 2020

Agh, hello everyone! It feels like forever since we’ve chatted even though a new blog post just went up yesterday. As you may know, I was in Charleston, South Carolina for most of the week. This was my first time visiting and I got to enjoy a week with my blogger bestie Molly and her fam. We did some touristy things, some shopping, and a lot of content creating! It was so fun and I am so grateful for such an awesome getaway.

However, I’m back home now and realizing how much I have to accomplish over the next few weeks and how little time I have to do it. Move-in day is right around the corner for me and back to school season is creeping up! Time to tie all those loose ends and finish off summer with a bang! I’ll give y’all a little life update at some point this week to fill ya in. In the meantime, enjoy hearing about my South Carolina trip!

THIS WEEK’S VLOG

I am so excited to share this week’s vlog with you! I vlogged my entire Charleston, South Carolina trip Saturday-Thursday. It’s been months since I’ve traveled anywhere and this was my first time meeting Molly and her family so it was a blast getting to capture it all on camera. Be sure to watch this week’s vlog to see the behind the scenes of our photoshoots, some touristy-things, and where the Outer Banks on Netflix was filmed!

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

7.19.20— Molly, her sister Payton and I headed to the beach today to soak up the sun. Sullivan’s Island was gorgeous and had the warmest water I’ve ever felt! It was empty too which was nice. We snapped some pictures by a cute palm plant, ate my first Cookout, and headed to the doc for a few photos after dinner.

7.20.20— Ran a couple of errands this morning before getting ready to shoot some photos. Molly helped me snap some photos by the doc for a few swimsuit brands and then we headed to College of Charleston in the afternoon to shoot some blog content. We finished off the day down by the water and eating milkshakes.

7.21.20— Up bright and early this morning to meet a local Charleston photographer for some photos together. We just got them back and they turned out so good; I cannot wait to share the pictures with you next week. I then met up with my roommate for this school year, Griffith and did a little window shopping along King Street, ate appetizers on a rooftop, and saw the pineapple fountain!

7.22.20— Molly and I headed to downtown Charleston this afternoon to snap some more blog content. It was so nice having a change of scenery for backgrounds; I would kill to live here and have so many cute locations for photos! Payton, Molly, and I had a major Taylor Swift jam session on our way to the beach tonight. We ate french fries and watched the sunset together.

7.23.20— It was my last day in South Carolina today and I had an exciting collaboration lined up with the Tanger Outlets. I got to pick up some super cute pieces for back to school season that I can’t wait to share with you. We stopped at Panera for lunch as a final hoorah before heading to the airport to catch my flight back home. Easiest flight ever!

7.24.20— My first day back home hit me like a bus, man! I didn’t realize how much I have to get done before going back to school until today. Today’s big project was purging my closet to get ready for my closet sale happening on Sunday! I was able to get rid of so much and really downsize before packing up for school in a couple of weeks. Grabbed dinner at The Hornet’s Nest with my fam, yum!

7.25.20— Another day trying to regroup. I’ve got a busy week ahead of me before heading to the beach for a week. I spent today working on blog content, prepping for my sale, and pre-filming some content for the next couple of weeks. Got dressed up and headed to dinner with Mr. Manion and Connor tonight. Wilcom’s Inn is always such a treat; so yummy!
