Weekly Wrap Up #35 2020

Well, I’m officially a sophomore in college! How crazy is that?! Thursday was my first day of classes for fall semester and although my learning situation is much different than usual, I will admit it went just fine. I got all dressed up, took the obligatory first-day photos, and “went to” class from the comfort of my living room. It was a short and sweet day— I only have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays so this week was just a tease.

The remainder of my girls moved in this week so between prepping for my first day and tieing up loose ends of my last week of doing this “full time” I got to catch up with them and hear all about their summers. I’ve hardly had more than ten minutes to sit down and just breathe and yet something in me loves the constant commotion and go go go. Looking forward to my first full week and diving into my new fashion classes. If this was your first week of class, how did it go?! THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

8.23.20— Kick starting the new week with a walk around campus. I’ve been meaning to get my booty back into the gym but the one I prefer is currently closed + I’ve been lacking the motivation to do so. So, a walk with the roomie it is! I spent the rest of the day getting blog work done and meeting some of my besties up for lunch at Boars Head. It was so delicious and so good to see them.

8.24.20— Boy was today busy! My roomie from last year, Olivia helped me shoot eight looks around campus this morning. Afterward, I had a quick photo shoot with some of my Alpha Phi sisters to promote sorority recruitment. The rest of my day was spent editing videos and getting another post-dinner walk in.

8.25.20— Up and at em early this morning for a walk to the fashion school; I had to pick up some materials for my Fashion Fabrics class. I had a big project for UGG to work on this afternoon and lots of emails to catch up on. Trying to take advantage of these last full days of “summer”.

8.26.20— Had mock sorority recruitment this morning followed by many hours prepping for the first day of school. It was time to sit down and get organized so I switched up my planner, printed out my syllabi, and got to work! Oh, and my desk chair finally came so this corner is complete (apartment tour coming soon!). I’m feeling much better about my virtual first day tomorrow.

8.27.20— Decided that the best start to my first day would be getting a workout in! Got ready, tackled a list of blog to-do’s, snapped the obligatory first-day pictures, and then made my way to class. I had online zoom’s for Economics and Fashion Fabrics today. They were short and sweet which allowed me to film later this afternoon!

8.28.20— It was a cold, rainy day here in Kent and I spent the entire day working on sponsored posts for the blog. I’m feeling brain dead after so many hours staring at the computer screen, lol! Liv, her roommate, and I headed to La Tareza for Mexican food tonight and it was delicious. Felt so good to catch up afterward!

8.29.20— It was a pretty chill Saturday around here. Met up with a friend, did lots of editing/organizing, went grocery shopping, and went for a walk by myself. Gearing up for a crazy busy week ahead! Oh, and I saw some of my sorority sisters this evening.
