3 Ways To Wear Loungewear This Semester

Well, I’ve officially been in Kent for a month now and it’s safe to say I’ve been wearing more loungewear than ever before. Don’t get me wrong, I still love looking fancy and have been trying to get ready each morning but the number of sweats I’ve been cycling through has gone through the roof.

Boohoo is easily my favorite place to buy loungewear from. They have so many cute, comfy pieces at such affordable prices. Today I’m sharing three fun ways to wear loungewear this semester so you can tackle online school in style!

Pop of Color

Temperatures haven’t totally cooled off yet so I’ve been wearing my fair share of tees and shorts around our apartment. This black cropped top is one of my favorites; I have it in a few different colors and it’s constantly being reached for. These lounge shorts are so easy to throw on and are super soft. They are super lightweight and the perfect length.

Once you’ve got an all-black base on, throw on a bright hoodie for a pop of color. I love this fun pale pink one. It’s on the cropped side which I love and looks adorable either zipped up or slouched off the shoulder. To make this look streetwear approved, slip into white chunky sneakers, a pair of cat-eye sunnies, and pop on gold chunky hoops.

Matching Set

There is truly nothing I love more than slipping into a cozy, matching set after a hot, morning shower. There is no better way to start my “off days”! I love reaching for sets as I work from home, edit videos, and write blog posts. These joggers are lightly lined with fleece making them the perfect weight—not too heavy but not too thin.

Of course, I had to snag the matching hoodie. The cropped fit and color is bringing me right back to the 2000s Juicy Couture tracksuit days! My go-to shoes lately have been my Ugg Fluffitas. These double as slides and slippers; I wear them around the house and out if I have a quick errand to run. Oh, and can’t forget about the blue light glasses. These have been lifesavers for me this school year!

Just The Basics

You can never go wrong with the basics! For me, that always means starting off in a white tee. I’ve got a gazillion white shirts in various styles: boxy, fitted, cropped, long sleeve, you name it and I probably have it. I reach for this SheIn one constantly becuase it’s the perfect shape!

I then reach for a pair of tapered, fitted joggers. This gray pair is new to my collection and I am absolutely obsessed. I love the fit of these so much; they leave you comfy without looking frumpy. To finish off the outfit, add white chunky sneakers and hoops. This look is so simple and yet so gosh darn cute. I always score compliments in this combo!
