Weekly Wrap Up #38 2020

Writing today’s blog post from the comfort of my own bed and man does it feel good! With all of my roommates out of town this weekend and the rest of my girl gang working, I decided to make a quick visit home for the weekend. I didn’t realize how much I needed some time to slow down and see my family until I walked in the door. I’m soaking up these few days together before life gets crazy again.

I had another full week between Bid Day, classes, shooting content, and getting ready to drive to Maryland. I’ve got a busy week on the horizon but am excited to see all of my friends again and celebrate 30K subscribers in Kent. I’ll keep you posted! THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

This week’s college week in my life vlog is a bit shorter than usual. I vlogged Sunday separately since it was our sorority’s bid day! I then decided mid-week that I was going to come home for the weekend for a quick Maryland visit and decided that it would be best to vlog that trip separately. WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

9.13.20— Today was supposed to be our Bid Day however, due to COVID it looked a lot different than planned. We weren’t able to have our usual day of festivities, so instead, I started off the morning at Over Easy eating a big breakfast with my roommate Emily and her boyfriend. We then came back and got dressed up to take pictures on the porch with the girls in the house. We weren’t able to meet the 39 new members we welcomed into our chapter in person but we had a “virtual bid day” over Zoom to get to know some of them!

9.14.20— Today was a long day of work! I woke up and got right to work uploading a blog post and YouTube video. I then planned looks for a 12 o’clock photoshoot with two of my sorority sisters downtown and a 4 o’clock shoot with my big Ally. I was so grateful for the extra help today and got lots done in between. Spent the night catching up with Connor and it felt so good!

9.15.20— Headed onto campus for my day of classes. I have to meet on Zoom for my Economics and Fashion Fabrics classes. Spent a couple of hours editing and completing assignments before getting dressed for an afternoon walk. After dinner, my roomies and I headed to a parking garage for a few sunset photos together (just for fun!).

9.16.20— Started my morning off with a walk around campus and then spent four hours getting blog + YouTube work done! I came home, packed up some stuff to bring home this weekend, and got ready for an evening at one of our annex houses spending time with my sisters. I’ve been dying to wear this cute black wrap top.

9.17.20— Another (chilly) full day of classes! I’ve been going to the Integrated Science building lately to complete my school work. I like that it gets me out of the house and keeps me focused. Ally came over for dinner and then I got ready for a “white lies” night with Olivia and Lauren.

9.18.20— Had an early morning Starbucks run with the sweetest new member Sophia! It was so good getting to know her and I’m hoping we can do it again next week. Afterward, I hopped in the car and drove home for the first time. I made it in 4 hours and 40 minutes! Obviously went to Hornet’s Nest with the fam and then spent the evening catching up with Con.

9.19.20— It was a full day in the Morgan household. I woke up to 30K subscribers and my mom had the sweetest surprise for me. She rounded up 30 of my biggest supporters to leave me love on this exciting milestone and I was so reminded of how awesome my support system truly is. I am so grateful! We went to Chartreuse, ate Cava for lunch, shot some photos, enjoyed some celebratory cookie cake, and ran a few errands. It was just the day I needed.
