Weekly Wrap Up #42 2020

Oh, what a crazy turn of events this week has been! I was having a typical college week in my life: working on posts in the mornings, completing assignments in the afternoon, meeting up with girls for my Ivy Linker dates, cooking meals—you know, just the usual.

That is until we had a COVID outbreak in the sorority house Friday morning and suddenly things have been flipped upside down. I came home to Maryland and am currently quarantined in my bedroom awaiting my test results. Our sorority house is on lockdown which means I will be cooped up here for quite some time.

And as stressed as I am about the whole situation I’m trying to calm myself and just be grateful for some extra time at home. I have to admit, I’m already bored out of my mind but thankfully I’ll have schoolwork to start doing tomorrow. As of right now, I feel fine— will keep you guys posted!

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

10.11.20— It was a long, busy Sunday of work here. I headed to the library at 10:30 and didn’t leave until 4:00. I got a Weekly Wrap Up published, a YouTube video up, edited two videos, updated my Shop tab, and got a head start on tomorrow’s blog post. I’d say it was a pretty successful day!

10.12.20— It was another busy day of work for me. Got dressed and ready this morning for a mid-day photo session with Liv and Nat. I shot four looks with them downtown. I then came home and got a blog post up, did some school work for my Fashion Fabrics class, and then shot 25 different fall outfits in front of our mirror. I also filmed a few Tik Toks for a brand and finally got my photos back from my water photoshoot! Can’t wait to share more of them with you.

10.13.20— Met up with the sweetest follower this morning to discuss what life at Kent State is like. She had the coolest life story and it was so fun getting to know someone new. I love meeting you guys and am always willing to meet up if you’re interested in going to Kent! I had a full day of class afterward and spent hours doing homework in a study room.

10.14.20— It was another busy day for me here. I took tons of notes for my Fashion Retail Industry class, wrote a paper, got a blog post and a YouTube video published, and shot photos for the blog. My Mondays/Wednesdays are always so crazy busy but they remind me that I am capable of “doing it all”. Grabbed Barrio with Liv tonight—I haven’t seen her in forever and it was so good to catch up!

10.15.20— Got a good walk in this morning in my cute new 90 Degree Leggings. I am obsessed with this color! I then got ready for class. I knocked out some homework for my Economics class and then spent a few hours playing catch-up on finances and emails. Spent the evening in bed watching Emily and Paris.

10.16.20— Grabbed donuts with a sweet new member this morning for another Ivy Linker date. I then came home and got right to work on today’s blog post. It was a long one but I am so proud of how it turned out. Then mid-afternoon we were alerted of the COVID outbreak in our sorority house and within an hour I was packed up and driving home. It felt like the longest drive but the leaves changing looked so beautiful!

10.17.20— Went and got tested bright and early this morning and spent the rest of the day quarantined in my room. I can’t lie, I spent most of the day being anxious at the thought of being home until November and possibly being sick. I tried to plan out some content for the next couple of weeks, thankfully I do have enough photos stockpiled to get me through these next two weeks!
