Agh, and just like that it’s time to restart the Weekly Wrap Up cycle again! If you’re new around here, Weekly Wrap Up’s began five years ago when I started my blog. I had just finished up the 100 Happy Days Challenge and wanted to continue sharing pockets of my days to the internet in addition to my outfit of the days.

So, I decided each Sunday to combine the two together and share a little weekly recap. They’ve become so habitual for me over the years and despite them including outfit links, vlogs, and so much more nowadays they truly do date back to the very beginning. I’m kicking off the New Year with my first one of 2021!

I want to say a huge thank you for all of the love and support I received on Friday. My 5th anniversary was so special to me and getting to share such an exciting milestone with you all meant everything to me. Thank you again; you guys are my everything! Now on with the outfits.

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

Well, this wasn’t exactly how I had planned for my first week in my life of 2021 to go but a traumatic car accident caused quite the turn of events. Sharing details on the accident and photos in today’s video along with other happy moments that happened the days leading up. So grateful to be here and for all of your well wishes + prayers!

Sunday, December 27

 

After a long week off this Sunday called for some major catch up. I hung up tons of clothes today, filmed two YouTube videos, planned looks for a photoshoot tomorrow, and got working on a blog post. It was a busy day yet one I needed to have!

Blog post went live this morning and then I got ready for a quick photoshoot in town for Princess Polly. Madison helped me today and I treated her to some Chipotle afterward. I came home to film a Tik Tok for Poshmark and ran to Target for some end of season clearance shopping with my mom and sissy.

Mrs. Manion and I ran to Ulta this morning to spend our gift cards and grabbed lunch at Noodles and Company. I spent the rest of my night in bed working on so many big end of the year blog posts.

Wednesday, December 30

I had quite the day writing my Styled by McKenz Turns 5 blog post and editing videos for the upcoming weeks. I also cleared out my furniture as I’m preparing for a room makeover with IKEA next week and needed to move it out of my bedroom! I’m so excited to share the finished product with you— stay tuned!

Decided very last minute to drive up to Kent for a quick New Years’ Eve visit. Grabbed dinner with one of my good friends Mike and then spent the evening celebrating with my big Ally and a few of her roommates! So excited to see what this year has in store.

Friday, January 1

I cannot believe it’s been five years since I launched Styled by McKenz! I was so overwhelmed with love today as I celebrate such an exciting milestone in my blogging career. So grateful for all of the people and opportunities these last five years have brought me and am so excited to see what the rest of the decade has in store. Love you all more than words!

Saturday, January 2

After a terribly traumatic car accident and the roughest start to the New Year, a day of laying in bed was just what the doctor had ordered. After lazing around most of the day, I finally got dressed for dinner with the fam. We went to TGIFriday’s and it was so yummy. I got to catch up with Connor and his fam for the rest of the evening.
