Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week

I just cannot believe how fast this semester is flying. Only a few weeks to go before spring break which means summer is right around the corner. I’m trying my best to soak up these days—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. It’s hard to believe I’ll only have a year left in this cute little town; I want to make the most of it while I can.

On top of the usual craziness of balancing school + work, I found myself experiencing my largest week of growth ever. And to think exactly a year ago I had just published my first ever SheIn bikini haul that would soon go viral, flipping my world upside down. I could not be more grateful for the 3,000+ people that have joined me on YouTube this week and the most amazing support system here in Kent. They keep me grounded. Feeling loved and thankful and overwhelmed. But hey, what else is new?!

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

Back to my usual Sunday uploads. Sharing an hour long college week in my life to YouTube today. I’m sharing a look into my current school work, how I manage to balance school and work, and some time with friends. Plus, I’m taking a second to sit down and reflect on this period of growth. I could not be more grateful for this week of “viralness” and am so reminded why I do what I do.

Sunday, March 21 

My final day with Madison started off with a trip to Over Easy, my favorite brunch place in Kent! We both got waffles and they were so yummy. We hung out in my apartment for a bit before saying goodbye. I’m so grateful for our weekend together. I ran to the field to catch the second half of the baseball game and Mike hit another home run, woohoo! Spent the night editing vlog footage and catching up on work.

Monday, March 22

Took today to regroup from a fun but busy week with the sissy! I had tons of small assignments and emails to catch up on + a blog post and YouTube video to get live. Mike and I ran to a new place downtown called Quench for some mid-day açaí bowls and a little friend time.

Tuesday, March 23

Hopped on a few calls this morning before heading to the study room for a busy afternoon of schoolwork. I had an exam to take and a few projects to get working on today. My little Logan came over for dinner at the Mansh and then we grabbed a few friends to walk by the river downtown. I am so grateful it’s starting to warm up—it has felt so good to start getting outside!

Wednesday, March 24

Nothing better than a work day! After working on a group project for my Fashion Apparel Analysis class I spent the rest of my afternoon writing a blog post, editing videos, and sending emails. Grabbed Sophia and Logan and headed out for a little line dancing tonight; we always have so much fun at The Dusty Armadillo.

Thursday, March 25

Let myself sleep in today and had a slower morning in the apartment hanging out with Emily before she goes home for the weekend. I had several lectures to listen to this afternoon; luckily it was nice and warm out so I was able to do my schoolwork from the balcony.

Friday, March 26

Ironically, Fridays always end up being one of my most productive days of the week. I woke up for my 8 am class this morning and then got right on with the rest of my day: lots of laundry, shrimp tacos for lunch, and a few big assignments. Our sorority had a make shift Red Dress Gala this evening with time-slots and mini cheese boards. It wasn’t the usual but still felt good to get dressed up for something!

Saturday, March 27

Wrote a blog post this morning and then spent several hours working on a big business-casual batch of content. It should go live sometime next week; get excited! Had my sweet friend Tayla over for dinner and spent a few hours catching up with her before curling up on the couch for a late night of editing.
