Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week

Holy cow has it been a week! Kicking it off with a little Easter celebration. There were a handful of us who stayed in Kent since we’d be going home the following week for spring break. I’m back in Maryland as of yesterday afternoon and am so looking forward to a week of relaxing and spending time with fam.

Kent is closing the dorms after spring break which meant all our littles had to move out Friday. We spent this week soaking up our final days together, eating out, and jamming out to Taylor Swift’s new album. I’ve been a little more MIA on Styled by than I’d like to be but am trying to enjoy these final weeks in Kent to the fullest. It’s starting to hit me that we’ll all be moving home soon, apart from one another for three months! 🥺

It’s ironic that in August I was crying at the thought of having to go back… Are you on spring break?! If so, I hope you’re having a safe, relaxing stay wherever you are. And for all of my ladies entering finals season instead, keep pushing. We’re in the home stretch, y’all!

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

Sunday, April 4

There were a handful of us left in Kent for Easter so we got together and threw a little brunch together to make the most of our first ones away from home. We kept things comfy! Watched the final baseball game against BG while working on my usual Sunday posts and headed to the field for a little journal session before dinner.

Monday, April 5 

Working on a bunch of sponsored content today—an Amazon video, a Romwe bikini haul, and an Adidas Instagram series. Got a blog post published and a YouTube video edited. It was one of the most productive work days I’ve had in a longgg time. Kart came over to hang out and eat some late night Steakeez with me and Em.

Tuesday, April 6 

Tuesdays are always the busiest day for me. Woke up bright and got right to school work. Listened to a few different lectures, had class at 2:15, and completed a project for my Fashion Apparel Analysis class. I grabbed Lauren and we headed out for an afternoon photoshoot. I got eight outfits shot and needed to film a sponsored Tik Tok for Grubhub so I treated her to some Panera. We grabbed ice cream after with her little (oops!).

Wednesday, April 7 

Lauren’s little and my little are moving out on Friday so we all headed out for a “final hoorah”. We went to La Tarezza, our favorite Mexican place and then put our cowboy boots on for a night of line dancing at The Dusty Armadillo. I love these girls and can’t wait till we’re all back together again.

Thursday, April 8 

Had myself a big pampering afternoon starting with a fresh hair cut and color at Charm Salon in Aurora. Im loving the new look. I then went to the NeoSkin Center in Hudson and had a consultation for laser hair removal and got my first ever facial. My skin was glowing after! Had dinner with Logan before packing my car up with Mike.

Friday, April 9

One last day in Kent before going home for spring break was spent getting all kinds of things done—8 am class, three loads of laundry, writing a blog post, filming Tik Toks, and working on a few final assignments. Baseball had their first night game of the season and it was so fun. The weather was absolutely beautiful, making it easily one of their best games this season.

Saturday, April 10 

Packed up the rest of my things and got on the road. Made it home successfully this time around (thank God!). Madison was home for the weekend so of course we headed out for dinner and ice cream. We tried the Mount Airy Inn tonight and it was so good. Feels good to be home!
