In all honesty, I thought this was going to be another one of those weeks where I miss my Friday upload. I’ve been slacking big time when it comes to taking pictures for the blog—the last few weeks have been crazy chaotic + the weather has been incredibly unpredictable. Just when I was getting ready to throw the towel in, I found these looks lost amidst my camera roll.
It’s been almost a month since I shot these outfits but thankfully all of the pieces are still fully stocked. Plus, they are still very fitting for the spring temperatures. I’ve got lots of fun things planned for Styled by, I promise—just trying to get through finals season first. In the meantime, here are three black tops I’m currently loving.
Nothing beats a little black anything…. dress, tank, you name it! I’m constantly finding new pieces to add to my collection and this cute crop top is my current favorite. My little Sophia actually has this SheIn top in blue and sold me on it instantly! I figured the black would be a bit more versatile for my closet so that’s what I landed on.
I’m a sucker for anything that ties around the torso—this detail is so flattering and hits you at a super slimming spot. Paired with your favorite high-waisted jeans you’ve got a match made in heaven! I wear these cropped flare jeans from Express all the time. They are the perfect wash and fit me beautifully. Plus raw hem jeans look adorable with heels. You’ve easily made a day time outfit ready for a dinner date! Pop on gold jewels to complete the look.

I know it’s starting to warm up in a lot of areas but it snowed two inches here yesterday so boots are still socially acceptable in April, lol. Of course if you’re somewhere warmer, you could swap these out for a pair of mules or even platform Converse to keep things casual!
I love long sleeves this time of year. For those mornings when it’s a little too brisk to show your shoulders, these serve as the perfect transition piece. This top has some adorable ruched detailing along the chest that’s so flattering. I have this top in nude as well and it’s one of my favorites from them. Paired with ripped mom jeans you’ve got a super cute going out look.

Oh how I love a good cowl neck tank top. I’m so glad these are going to be big in Summer 2021 because they are some of my favorite pieces to style— effortlessly elegant and incredibly versatile. While this top would look adorable with denim shorts and a pair of sandals, I thought I’d dress it up for a dinner downtown moment. The tie-back detail is everything.
Because this one is on the cropped side, I figured a pair of high-rise straight leg jeans would pair best with it. I threw on lace up heels to give me a little extra height. Plus, I love the feminine meets grunge feel that this combo gives off! Of course, I had to add a pair of statement earrings. These gold hoops have a small butterfly on them that matched so perfectly!
Outfit Details— top: Romwe, jeans: Express, heels: SheIn, earrings: Romwe, necklace: The Silver Heron, rings: Ana Luisa, bracelets: Ana Luisa
What kind of looks have you been sporting these days? I have to admit, I’ve been wearing all kinds of sweats and am dreaming of days where I actually have a reason to get dressed up again! I’ll be free for the summer soon, so hopefully those days are just around the corner. Let me know what brands + styled you want to see more of in the comments below and I’ll add em to the list. Talk soon for Sunday’s weekly recap.
