Weekly Wrap Up #33 2021 Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week
Wrapping up my last full week of summer 2021! I cannot believe how fast it all flew; this time next week I’ll be writing you from my college apartment in Kent. This past week the fam and I spent the week in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. I look forward to our Outer Banks trip every summer but this year more than ever.
I truly needed this last week to soak up family time and sunshine before my move. Of all the trips we’ve taken to the beach, this week had the best weather by far. It was sunny and eighty all week with clear, warm water. We spent so much of the week swimming (and eating yummy food) and it’s safe to say my heart feels full!
Time to start packing my bags and loading the car—I’m Kent bound on Thursday!!!! Can’t wait to give you the full scoop of my new space next week. Until then, enjoy this last taste of bikini season. xo

Sunday, August 8
It rained most of yesterday, making today, our first full day at the beach. We took hold of every second, soaking up the sun and playing in the water. I also made tons of progress on my book—Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner. So far so good!

Monday, August 9
Several weeks ago Madison and I discovered a Tik Tok challenge where a friend group spent the entire day (sunrise to sunset) at the beach. Naturally, we had to try it ourselves. So, we set out at sunrise and spent the entire day outside tanning, swimming, and walking along the water. We swam at sunset and it was one of the best experiences ever. We sure were worn out by the end of the 14 hours but man was it fun!

Tuesday, August 10
If you remember Sam, my content creator friend who joined me during my Miami Swim Week trip—she arrived early this morning to spend the rest of the week with us. I’m so grateful for this stranger turned soulmate. We had a full day of laughs, swimming, and picture taking before getting dressed for dinner at our favorite place on the island: Hurricane Moes.

Wednesday, August 11
It was Sam’s first full day here so we were out at the beach before 9! It was a hot one today but luckily the water was super flat and warm. We played tons of water games, hung out on the boogie board, and took a walk. Before heading in for the day we snapped some photos in the fun snorkel gear that Sam brought with her. After our showers and dinner, we headed to the dunes to enjoy the sunset and stroll through the surf shops.

Thursday, August 12
Woke up for sunrise this morning and stayed out to enjoy the morning sun + shoot some photos in a few different swimsuits! Trying to stock up on photos before going to school. Us kids went to Stack Em High for breakfast before spending the rest of the afternoon soaking up more sun. Sam and I got dolled up for dinner and snapped some photos beforehand!

Friday, August 13
Sam left early this morning so after saying goodbye, I threw on my suit and headed back out to the beach. The water was so warm today so we spent much of the day on the boogie board, riding over waves. Around five I finally headed home for the night and changed into a matching suit with Madison for our annual twinning photo! We grabbed pizza and mozzarella sticks for dinner—YUM.

Saturday, August 8
Woke up bright and early this morning to drive back home. We had the best time in the Outer Banks and I’m not going to lie, it was hard packing up this time! I spent the afternoon shooting a campaign for Ugg and catching up on emails. Madison heads to school in a few days so we went out to the Hornets Nest one last time. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was so good tonight!
