Weekly Wrap Up #34 2021 Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week
And just like that Summer 2021 has come to a close. Packed up my stuff early this week and made my way back to the good ole town of Kent, Ohio to begin my junior year at Kent State. I don’t officially begin classes until Thursday but for now, I’m settling into my new apartment, reconnecting with friends, and soaking up all of the excitement.
It’s been a crazy week full of family time, goodbyes, and last adventures. I’m eager to start the school year but would be lying if I said I wasn’t sad to close this chapter—it’s been one hell of a ride! Cheers to a season of life I’ll never forget.

Got home from the beach yesterday which naturally meant today was spent shopping at the outlet mall than with the Manions. This was our last time all together this summer—we cooked out, roasted marshmallows, and played games in the yard with the neighbors. Going to miss this clan so much once going back to school!

Monday, August 16
Started the morning off with an early doctor’s appointment followed by tons of blog work. I had quite a few emails and blog posts to tackle, followed by some last-minute filming. I finally tackled packing: starting off with all of my bedroom decor, linens, and bathroom stuff. Can’t believe it’s that time already.

Tuesday, August 17
Took an early morning trip to Plato’s Closet to sell some clothes this morning before running a few last-minute errands. I then headed to Hair Razors for my annual pre-back to school, haircut, and color. I went a lot blonder and love how it turned out! Spent the rest of the afternoon packing up my closet, shoes, makeup, and accessories. It’s getting real, y’all.

Wednesday, August 18
My last day in Maryland for the summer started off with packing the car. Connor came over to help and we got it all packed up in less than 30 minutes. Then off to The Music Cafe for lunch. I spent the afternoon working on a Youtube video, soaking up time with the fam, and saying my final goodbyes.

Thursday, August 19
Got on the road bright and early this morning. I made it to Kent by 10 am and immediately started unloading the car and putting together my new room! It toom Madison and me all day but it turned out perfect. I’ll be sharing my full room tour next week, so stay tuned. It feels so good to be back in my second home and even better to be back with friends that feel like family.

Friday, August 20
Off to New York, this morning for a quick last-minute getaway before the school year officially begins. My cousin Katie gets married tomorrow so today began the celebration with a welcoming party for us out of state-rs. The venue is right on the water of Canandaigua Lake and is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect night!

Our entire family and tons of Katie and Andrew’s friends gathered tonight for the most amazing wedding. Every detail was so carefully thought out—the entire evening was beautiful. We spent the night dancing, signing, and catching up with family. My gosh was it good for the heart, especially after a year of Covid!
