Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week

Phew, what a busy week it was! I’m finally falling into a routine here—styledby things in the morning, working during the day, avoiding traffic by spending a few hours in the sun, then home for dinner and a fun evening with my roommates. Needless to say, I’ve been hitting the pillow hard each night, lol.

My college bestie Olivia is in town visiting for the Fourth of July so we’re off to San Diego this morning for a fun afternoon exploring La Jolla + hitting the beach. I can’t wait to show her more of my favorite place. Stay tuned for some fun on Instagram @styledbymckenz.

Sunday, June 25

Twas a busy Sunday! I got my content uploaded for the day then drove downtown to meet my manager at Bottega Louie for brunch! It was so good getting to meet everyone + chat about upcoming business plans! I left and met the roomies for a fun lunch collab on Rodeo Drive then was off to Pacific Palisades for an evening of shooting content. We took the most gorgeous oceanside photos. What a day!

Monday, June 26

Woke up bright and early this morning to get some styledby things done before heading over to Hermosa for a day of work. Tiff and I made several reels today, having our first one go viral in minutes. We went to Paradise Bowls to get acai bowls to celebrate! I spent a few hours in the sun then headed home for dinner with the roomie.

Tuesday, June 27

Ashley and I got a hot girl walk and breakfast in before I had to leave for work. We ordered some new shoes for the store + filmed more reels today. After I got off of work I went down to the beach for a few hours. We stayed on the pier for dinner; heading over to our favorite spot American Junkie. They have the best burgers! Roomies and I went to the late showing of Elvis to finish off the day. It was so good.

Wednesday, June 28

Met up with a sweet new friend for coffee this morning! I then spent a few hours filming and sending over some sponsored content to a few brands. I headed over to Hermosa for a beach day. The sun was scorching today and I finally was able to finish Malibu Rising. I loved this book—one of my favs this summer, for sure. I stopped in the store for a bit then drove home for dinner + a hot girl walk with Jules. Busy busy these days!

Thursday, June 29

Jules came with me to work today, spending her hours in the sun while I was in the store. We picked up her special guest from the airport and then went to The Grove for dinner. We tried a new spot for dinner and although the atmosphere was amazing, our food was rather disappointing. Needless to say, we beelined for the ice cream in the freezer when we got home, lol.

Friday, June 30

Off to Malibu today for a gorgeous afternoon. We popped in and out of some stores in the Country Mart and spent a few hours lazing in the sun. The water here is unreal with huge waves and the most gorgeous scenery. I’ll never get used to these views! We grabbed dinner at Duke’s then came home to my college roomie in town! Woohoo!

Saturday, July 1

Olivia is in town so naturally, we woke up bright and early to do all the things. I took her to Rodeo Drive so she could see the iconic spots then we went to the beach to get some sun. I read so much of my new book, Beach Read, and am loving it so much. We ate dinner along the pier and then headed to the overlook for sunset. It was so much fun getting to show her my new stomping grounds!
