Florence Outfits + Week In My Life

WOW. What a week of emotions. My last full week living in Florence, Italy, and I can hardly believe it. Where oh where has the time gone—not just this semester but the last three and a half years? I simply cannot process that I’ll be graduating college next week. The whole world is my oyster and I’ve never been so excited or nervous about a change.

Despite the overflowing emotions, I know God’s got me right where I’m supposed to be. So right now I’m holding onto it—every single second of it. Eating all the food. Seeing all the sights. And laughing all the laughs. I wouldn’t trade this season of life for the whole world.

What a ride it’s been. I’m so very sad to see it go. Enjoy my last full weekly recap—catch you next week as a college graduate! (Sorry for the not great outfit photos—it’s been pouring all month long.)😭

Monday, December 5

Getting back into my groove today—three full classes all spent preparing for my final projects and exams! Shooting some content, grocery shopping, and cooking at home. I uploaded two blog posts and caught up with some friends… talk about starting the week on a high note!

Tuesday, December 6

Today was another busy school day spent working on final projects! Liv and I cooked dinner at home together and then went out for gelato at a new spot. Spending our evening just chatting, laughing, and sharing old stories with one another. It’s so bittersweet knowing our time as roommates is coming to an end.

Wednesday, December 7

Today I gave my final presentation for my Fashion Media class and worked on my final project for Luxury Market. Just one more week of school so I can’t complain! The girls and I got dressed and went to one of our favorite spots Piazzolulo for dinner then out to The Book Club for a couple of drinks. It was a chill night but such a fun one.

Thursday, December 8

Today was an Italian holiday which meant we had no school. We went to Rooster, the best brunch spot in Florence, and I got their loaded chicken and waffles. Seriously a must if you’re visiting Flo! I watched Jess and Liv get tattoos and then spent another rainy, lazy afternoon together just hanging out.

Friday, December 9

One of the things on our “final few in Florence” list was trying out the iconic cheese wheel pasta! We went to Osteria Pastella where they handmake the noodles right in front of you, lighting the cheese on fire. We had an incredible meal all together then went out to Lion’s and XO for one last rowdy night out. How did our last Friday of college come so fast?!

Saturday, December 10

Had myself the perfect Saturday in Florence, playing tourist in my own city. I swear I walked the entire city today—toured the Duomo and went to the most amazing mass + confessional, walked over to Ponte Vecchio, checked out the Christmas Market at Santa Croce, and shopped along all the side streets picking up my final souvenirs for everyone. Off to New Bridge for dinner where I had legit the best pizza of my time here! Get the burrata pesto, it’s life-changing!

Sunday, December 11

Sunday Funday in Florence was spent trying a new brunch spot, La Vespa! Super cute and their eggs benedict was so delicious! Then off to the outskirts of town to check out the little Christmas market and ride the ferris wheel. The views were unreal at golden hour. We went to Zaza for an amazing dinner and finished off our night giggling and crying as we started packing suitcases.
