If you know me you know how much I love Express. If you’re a postgrad looking to build a basic, versatile wardrobe full of pieces that can be worn regardless of the occasion, this is the place. No, this post isn’t sponsored (although I wish it was, haha). I’ve just been a huge fan of their stuff for years.
They are running some amazing sales right now with 40-50% off everything and an additional 50% off clearance. Today I’m sharing ten outfits to wear this spring/summer featuring a handful of their new arrivals. Enjoy!

Looking for a never fail bodysuit? This Express Body Contour piece is one of my all-time favorites. This entire collection is made of a double-lined material that’s thick enough to wear without a bra! Even the white isn’t see-through which is hard to come by.
I style these with a cardigan over top in the winter but come springtime they look amazing on their own with just a simple pair of jean shorts thrown over the top. I just got these from Express and love the fit of them—long enough to cover your butt cheeks but short enough to still look fun and flirty. With a pair of lace-up heels, this look is perfect for dinner and drinks with friends.

Of course, you can also wear these bodysuits in the office too! Just toss on a blazer and whatever bottoms fit your dress code. I know many of my followers work in a more laid-back setting so jeans are allowed. If you’re in that boat I highly suggest checking out these straight legs. I love the ankle fit of these—perfect for springtime when you’re wanting to start wearing your low-top sneakers and sandals!

Finding going out tops that aren’t SheIn quality or too college-y can be hard. Express is where I get a lot of my “post-grad” going out tops. This bodysuit is the same Body Contour material but has lightly padded cups to give you a little cleavage. I especially love Express bodysuits because they have a thong bottom and snap so getting in and out to go to the bathroom is much easier!
I’m styling this bodysuit with a pair of low-rise jeans. I just recently started trying out this style and am obsessed! These definitely run big so I suggest going down at least one size. Throw on a little heel to give yourself some height— the Dolce Vita Pailey are def my most reached-for. So comfy and very cute!

I know a lot of you mid-westerners are still dealing with chilly temperatures. Those awkward transition weeks are the worst. But they are the perfect time to break out your casual cotton long sleeves. I have this one in two colors and it’s the best! Super lightweight and very versatile.
I’m keeping things super simple with a pair of straight-leg jeans and a low-top sneakers. If you know me you know that the Dolce Vita Zinas are my go-to. I have two pairs of these and they are the best. So comfortable and work great for those transition weeks.

Showing you one more way to wear those basic long-sleeve tees! This style also comes in this adorable lilac color that screams spring. I have this on with those same jeans but am just dressing the combination up with a braided heel and a purse to match!
top || jeans || heels || purse
Something about this sweet peplum top screams Sunday church + brunch! It comes in several colors and has a modest neckline so it would be the perfect piece to wear in the office too!
I’m keeping things semi-casual with a pair of ripped jeans but throwing on a baby block heel and one of my favorite purses to dress it up just a tad. I love how classy + effortless this combination is.
I have that bodysuit in two different colors- the white is the perfect basic for everyday wear but this hot pink is a fun way to spice up your closet. This hue is all the rage right now and brightens up every complexion. I wore this with a pair of low-rise ripped jeans and my platform Converse to grab a coffee the other day. Super casual but still so cute!

Cargo jeans have been all over my Pinterest feed and I finally caved and bought a pair. I love the straight leg, baggy fit and I have to admit, the low rise is starting to grow on me. If you have a shorter torso, this style will really help elongate it!
bodysuit || shorts || bag || sandals
This bodysuit is another one from the Express Body Contour collection. I have it in several colors and it’s one of my favorite styles. Perfect for everyday wear but can also be dressed up for a night out. I find these pieces to run a little big so I typically size down to a XXS for a tighter, more compressing fit. I couldn’t resist this green- it’s trending big time this season and is so flattering!
These pieces are so easy to style. Just a pair of shorts and a cute pair of sandals will work just fine! I’ve got straw shoes and a matching tote to complete this look.
I’ve tried just about every cheap pair of leather pants on the market and I’m here to tell you none are going to compare to these Express ones. Unlike a lot of leather pants, these hug the waist and hurt effortlessly, with a flattering cut and a tapered leg.
I wear these a ton in the colder months because they have a light fleece lining that keeps you warm. However, I end up wearing these all year round, swapping my long sleeve bodysuits and booties for cropped tanks and a pair of heels! This is the tank version of the last bodysuit— hands down one of the most worn pieces in my closet. I wear this all the time and it never fails!
I know getting dressed during these transition weeks can be a little awkward! Hopefully, this post gave you some tips on how to transition into sunshine in style. Catch you next week with some country concert outfit inspo. Stay tuned.
