Weekly Wrap Up #14 2020

Well, we’ve survived another week of quarantine! I’ve gotta admit, it’s starting to feel like there’s no light at the end of this tunnel, lol. I’m thinking it’s time to get used to this situation because we’re going to be here for a while… This week I went “back to school” after having last week off for “spring break” and man was I swamped with work. I set an alarm each weekday, working from about 9-8 each day. I switched on and off between schoolwork and blog-related tasks and as good as it felt to be productive, I’m exhausted and feeling more than grateful that this semester will be over in just a few weeks. As repetitive as the week was, I still managed to get dressed in a cute outfit every day which is just about the only thing keeping me going. THIS WEEK’S VLOGS

I’m taking a bit of a break from Week In My Life vlogs during this quarantine and switching to daily/every few day vlogs as a way of giving myself something to do and you something to watch! I uploaded three different vlogs this week—click here to watch them all.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

3.29.20— Having a slow Sunday morning to myself. Filmed a Tik Tok, lazed in bed, and worked on my Sunday posts. I went to the high school to go on a three-mile walk with the Manions mid-day but that was the extent of exciting things that happened. Writing a blog post and going on another walk with Madison this evening.

3.30.20— Starting the school week off tackling Fashion Tech homework and Entrepreneurship. Mid-way through the day we found out that Maryland was being placed on “Shelter In Place” which means no going anywhere unless it’s the grocery store or a medical emergency. So, Madison and I took advantage of what little time we had left and quickly set out to shoot twelve looks around town while we still could. It felt so good to get so many photos out of the way! I am sad however that my shooting will be going back to the yard in the coming weeks.

3.31.20— Today I had to record a “Day In My Life” via Instagram stories for the Kent State Pink Instagram. It was sort of fun getting to show them my day of school and work + how I’m balancing it all during the quarantine. I’ve been making myself smoothies almost every morning before starting schoolwork to make me feel like I’m still in Kent! I got allll the things done today.

4.1.20— Having a lazier outfit day today. Back to the note-taking grind this morning. I had to edit a couple of videos and wrote Friday’s blog post too. Trying my best to stay on top of the game!

4.2.20— This outfit was probably my favorite of the week; I love how this color complimented my skin tone! Again, I did a bunch of schoolwork throughout the first half of the day so that I could take it easy for the rest of the weekend. The natural light was shining in big-time this afternoon so I took advantage and filmed two different videos.

4.3.20— Wish I could say I had a super productive Friday but that just wasn’t the case. Aside from giving a speech for my Communications class and filming a video for DormCo, not much else went on. I got to talk with Olivia for an hour and then the fam all hopped on Zoom to have a 78th “birthday celebration” for our Grammy!

4.4.20— Today I discovered the white tee and jeans combination and I am forever changed haha. I couldn’t love this simple combo more. I basically got dressed to sit on my phone for seven hours today but you know how it is, LOL. Enjoyed some take out from the Hornet’s Nest for dinner.
