Since yesterday’s blog post was just my monthly favorites, I figured I would pop back in on this gorgeous Saturday afternoon for a “bonus” post. Today is my first official day of summer and Maryland did not disappoint; it’s sunny and seventy out and a day of relaxing in my beach chair is just what the doctor ordered.
But before I get to that, I figured I would share a few spring outfit ideas with you. I’ve had these looks photographed for a while now and felt they were the perfect thing to share to kick off the weekend! Hope you enjoy.
Smocked tops are some of my favorite things to wear throughout the spring and summer. The frilly peplum details, self-tying straps, and bright color scheme make for the cutest top. Whether it be with shorts or jeans, for a Sunday stroll or date night there are endless ways to style this baby!
I, of course, went with a pair of ripped skinny jeans from Express. I love jeans and a tank for the cooler evenings! To give this outfit a bit of a beachy vibe I went with some of my favorite wicker accessories. I talked about this Sonja Morgan purse and these Chinese Laundry wedges in yesterday’s blog post—as you can tell they are both constantly on repeat. As for earrings, I thought these large flowers would make a bold statement + they coordinated perfectly.

This is another favorite top of mine! This beauty came in a few weeks ago from SheIn but I’m just now getting around to sharing it with you. It’s got quite the unique cut to it with a halter neckline and open back. The straps lace-up on either side allowing for the cutest detail. I love this for a festival or just for a warm sunny afternoon!
I decided this top would look perfect with a pair of bell-bottoms. These jeans are old but they are some of my favorites. They are extremely high rise and very long, taking me right back to the seventies! I threw on a pair of wedges to give me some height; these pants definitely needed it. As for accessories, I thought a flower crown would keep that modern hippie vibe going that this outfit so effortlessly gives off!

Oh how this romper makes me wish it were summer already— this outfit combination would be perfect for the beach! While it’s certainly a nice day out today, the sunshine has been pretty sporadic over here. This off the shoulder romper has got the cutest ruffle along the top and a belt to accentuate the waist. I would definitely recommend sizing up in this if you decide to pick it up.
I threw on cute crossed sandals and statement errings but the perfect finishing touch was definitely this large floppy hat! I love the shell jewels around the brim and how big this hat is; it’s so perfect for keeping the sun off of your chest and shoulders while sitting outside, or, of course, dor spicing up your outfit.

Well, that’s going to be all for today’s quick and easy outfit ideas. I hope you enjoyed and that this gave you a bit of outfit inspiration—I know many states are gradually reopening this week so perhaps you can recreate one of these looks for your big debut back into the real world, lol. Talk to you tomorrow!
