Weekly Wrap Up #18 2020

It’s summer baby, woohoo!!! I cannot believe my freshman year of college is over already; it feels like it just started a few weeks ago. I spent most of the week studying and turning in my final assignments of the semester. I “handed in” my last final Friday afternoon and man does it feel good to be done!

Madison also finished up on Friday and so the two of us enjoyed our first day of summer yesterday tanning on the deck, listening to music, and shooting some photos. I have a feeling that’s going to become our new routine this summer… If you’re done with school too, how are you keeping busy?! I’m looking forward to relaxing but know I will be bored in about a week, haha. Let me know in the comments below.

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

You all asked for me to vlog finals week so here I am! I cannot believe this is my last College Week In My Life of freshman year; although it ended much differently than I had intended I’m so happy I could capture these moments on camera and share them with you. WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

4.26.20— Got my Sunday posts all up and ready and then spent the entire afternoon lazing around scrolling through my computer. Trying to enjoy a day “off” before cranking out my final week of the school year. We also enjoyed a jumbo pretzel from Hornet’s Nest and it was to die for. Ps, these sweats are the best.

4.27.20— A few pops of yellow were much needed today. I had my last PINK meeting of the semester this morning followed by finishing up a Fashion Tech project, getting today’s blog post up, and studying for finals. Madison, dad, and I took it upon ourselves to watch The Hunger Games series over the next two days; today we watched the original and Catching Fire.

4.28.20— Dressed up in something edgy today just because. Today I went to my final Communications class, did a whole bunch of studying, and listened to another Art History lecture. After all of my schoolwork was done, we all sat down to watch the two Mocking Jay movies. They were so good.

4.29.20— The sun finally came out today and man did it feel good! I spent most of the morning outside soaking up the sunshine before packing up some looks and heading out with Madison. We went to The Crown for a photoshoot and had so much fun getting a bit more creative with our shots. We also ran to Walmart for a few essentials; look how cute are masks are from Hunter & Honey.

4.30.20— A dreary Thursday called for sweatpants and tying up all kinds of loose ends. I handed in all of my last-minute assignments, took another final exam, and listened to my last Art History lecture before studying for the remainder of the afternoon. Feeling burnt out and so ready to be done.

5.1.20— Last day of school, baby! Took my last two exams today and man does it feel good to be done. Shared this cute little insta story to my account too as a “celebratory” post. These were some of the pictures Madison and I took on Wednesday; aren’t they cute?!

5.2.20— First day of summer and the weather certainly did not disappoint. Madison and I laid outside in our swimsuits catching some rays for most of the day. The Manions stopped by too and we got to chit-chat with them; our first six-feet apart interaction in seven weeks felt so good! Shooting photos with Madison in Fredrick this afternoon (here’s a sneak peek!) and enjoying some yummy shrimp tacos for dinner. Our summer kick-off wasn’t too shabby after all!
