Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week

Just one more week until I’m headed home for spring break! It’s been almost three months since I came back to Kent and I’ve got to admit, it feels like just three weeks. Time is flyinggg. Just the same ole same ole happening around here this week with the exception of getting my first dose of the COVID vaccine! All of Ohio is eligible now so I took advantage and made an appointment as soon as possible. Sharing a bit about my experience later on in this post.

I’m warning you now, this was the weirdest week of outfits ever. We’re in that terrible part of spring where it’s shorts weather one day and snowing the next. I’m *trying* to keep up with it but am also desperate for room in my closet and have already packed up most of my winter clothes, lol. Anywho, fingers crossed the forecast pulls through this week—ready for seventies and sunshine.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

Sunday, March 28

Bundled up for a cold, rainy day at the baseball field. They had a double header against Dayton but unfortunately lost both games. Oh well, still felt good to get out of the apartment for the afternoon. Came home and did a little closet clean out—I’m desperate to get rid of some clothes before heading home for break!

Monday, March 29

Headed to Quench with a subscriber touring Kent this morning for acai bowls! Came home and got right to work on my business casual series. I shared a blog post, YouTube video, Tik Tok, and Instagram series. Hopped on a panel for Bumble right after, chit chatting with a bunch of other girls about chasing your dreams + getting started in the influencer industry.

Tuesday, March 30

Planning out my senior year class schedule + study abroad plans with my advisor before heading to get my first COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone in Kent is eligible now and I was lucky enough to secure an appointment! I got Moderna and celebrated with some Insomnia Cookies afterward + spent the entire afternoon catching up on schoolwork outside. Had Logan over for taco night and grabbed a few friends for a post-dinner walk.

Wednesday, March 31

Woke up feeling pretty crummy this morning. Unfortunately had every vaccine symptom possible so I spent much of the day cozied up in bed getting work done and listening to lectures for my Marketing class.

Thursday, April 1

Thankfully my vaccine symptoms only lasted a day; I woke up feeling so much better! Went straight up to the study room this morning and spent the entire day completing assignments, sending emails, and studying for my Marketing exam. Got the girls together and had a mini birthday celebration for our sweet friend Griffith!

Friday, April 2 

Today was Griffith’s actual birthday so I took her to The Fruit Strand for acai bowls after my 8am. Curled up on the couch to watch the first of baseball’s four game series against Bowling Green. They had an awesome win and I was able to get tons of notes taken while watching. I had my little Logan over for dinner and a little chit-chat session.

Saturday, April 3 

I always let myself sleep in on Saturdays and boy was today needed! Made myself a bagel sandwich, got ready, and went straight to work filming a few videos and taking photos for an upcoming Amazon deal. Uploaded a blog post and spent the afternoon editing Sunday’s week in my life. You know I can’t eat alone, lol—had the future roomies over for a late dinner.
