Weekly Wrap Up #3 2022 Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week
I’m back in Kent and life has gone back to “normal”. Let me tell you, returning to a foot of snow after ten days in Hawaii is absolutely brutal, lol. We got hit with a huge blizzard on Sunday which luckily gave us our first snow day ever, pushing our first day of classes back a bit.
On Thursday I had my last first day of school in Kent and everything that comes with college life has resumed—cooking with the roomies, getting ready to go out, balancing school, work, and social life. It’s funny how easily I can switch from full-blown Styled by mode back to school girl McKenzie.
Feeling nostalgic as I sit here scrolling through old Weekly Wrap Ups realizing this is the last semester I have in this little ole college town, surrounded by these friends that feel like family. It goes too fast. Soaking up every second and vowing to say “yes” more often as my final weeks here slip by. Cheers to you, Kent, and cheers to a kick a$$ last semester.

Got back to Kent yesterday afternoon which meant today was for unpacking + tidying up around the apartment. I knocked out some blog work, folded my laundry, and made a Hello Fresh meal with the roomies for dinner. I also unboxed a ton of PR packages which is always a treat!

Monday, January 17
We got eighteen inches of snow overnight which meant our Monday plans were postponed. We layered on our warm clothes and headed out for a snow day darty in true college fashion. Although I had a blog post to write, my roommates reminded me we don’t get these days back! We had lots of fun + cooked another Hello Fresh meal together for dinner.

Tuesday, January 18
Today was supposed to be our first day of class but with the roads still snow-covered, Kent gave us the day off. Lucky for me I had all kinds of time to sit in bed and edit YouTube videos for the week. I cranked out a huge blog post, sharing 25 outfits I wore in Hawaii. It was quite a busy day at my desk.

Wednesday, January 19
Started my morning off at the Neoskin Center in Hudson getting my next round of laser hair removal + a lip flip. It always feels so good to go and get pampered! Emily came over for a big breakfast before spending the rest of the day cooped up at my desk getting a blog post + YouTube video published. I joined my Aphi girls for KFC bowls at the mansh!

Thursday, January 20
My last first day of school in Kent—crazy to think in August I’ll be starting the school year in Italy! We bundled up and trekked out to the Fashion School for two in-person classes. I sat down and went through all my syllabus, writing down all kinds of due dates + watching through some lectures for my online classes. Logan and I went to Rays for dinner before getting ready to go out for the night. We all went to Outpost together and had a blast!

Friday, January 21
Starting the morning off with a gym session before working on some shot book pages. Tonight we sent our girl Krista off to the bars with a killer send-off! Love my roomie girls so much.

Saturday, January 22
Decided after a lazy Friday that I needed to have a productive Saturday. I got ready, filmed two try-on hauls for YouTube, cranked out seven Tik Toks, and unboxed some new packages. I spent the afternoon editing my first college week in my life of the semester and headed out for another friend’s 21st birthday bar crawl!
