Weekly Wrap Up #19 2021 College Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week
It’s the last Weekly Wrap Up of sophomore year and I’m feeling every emotion under the sun. I’ve cried more tears than I can count this week. I know it seems silly—I’ll see those friends in just a few months, I’m moving home to a place I know and love, and there are things like phones to keep in touch but it just ~feels~ like so much more than that.
I’m closing a chapter that I was so afraid to start. I wish I could go back and shake that August version of myself who was crying about moving back to Kent; if only she knew how much she’d cherish this school year. Goes to show, it always works out in the end. Wrapping up the best last week I could have asked for. Left a piece of my heart in Kent yesterday but don’t worry, I’ll be back soon to reclaim it. 💛

Made Em and I our final bagel sandwiches of the semester to kick start our Sunday. Got my YouTube video and blog post live then headed to the baseball field for the series finale against OU. The day didn’t stop there—came home and filmed two YouTube videos, treated Emily to Panera, went for one last walk around campus, and stayed up late driving my boys around. Today was so good for the heart.

My sweet roommate Emily moved out today and I couldn’t be sadder about it. I’ve loved our time together and will miss her company so much next year! Keeping busy with a ton of studying + finals prep this afternoon. My big Ally came over for ranch chicken in the crockpot and of course Lauren and I ventured out for late night ice cream sandwiches. I love spontaneous nights like this one.

Wednesday, May 5
It’s quite rare I don’t capture a day on camera but today was one of them. Had such a busy day I never even made it out of pajamas: morning exam with Lauren, blog post published, YouTube video edited, Marketing exam studied for, and Cinco de Mayo dinner with the future roomies. We stayed up talking for hours and it was so good for the heart.

Had some brand work due for Grubhub this morning which meant treating myself to some Fruit Stand for breakfast this morning. Sat down and took my Fashion Branding and Marketing finals which means 4/5 classes are officially complete woohoo! Celebrated with a movie night with Griffith.

Had a late night hanging with my friend Sam which meant a slow start to my Friday. Completed my final project for Media Messages which means my school year is finally done—I can’t believe I only have a year left in Kent. Time truly flies. Headed to the baseball field for a super fun game against Akron. A big win for the boys with a walk off homer!
